Clinic
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Dispensed
Hello folks

So I’m new to medical cannabis but I’m not new to cannabis whatsoever.

Recently joined with Dispense clinic which I’m starting to regret and I haven’t even received any medication yet.

It’s exactly just that, no medication. Yet I was approved almost three weeks ago but still haven’t even received email from the pharmacy.

Is this normal? Surely it can’t be

I get better service from the BM, more choice available than Dispensed , probably cheaper and takes 1-3 days to obtain…who’s got that amount of patience to wait that long on a script being processed?

Am I wrong here?

All I want to do is be able to medicate legally but if this is the way it’s going to be then it doesn’t suit me and my needs

Rant over

Any insights?

Welcome to the forum @Smee
Unfortunately we have seen a few people left in the lurch because of various reasons with this clinic and the meds available were very limited and picked by the doctor irrelevant of what the patient says :(
If it were me I would chase them up for an answer as in asap so you can review your options and transfer if necessary and as you are already a patient some clinics will be free to join that normally wouldn't but thankfully there a few to choose from where they roughly cost the same as in £5-£10/month if you include postage ,

Thanks for replying

I’ve chased them up a few times, I was just basically lead to believe it was all in the process

Rang takoda one and they hadn’t even received my prescription yet

Frustrated to say the least. Then I’m wondering is this gona be the same every time renewing my prescription.

Best about it is I'm very limited in funds and the money I’ve had sitting aside for my prescription is close to getting spent at my usual port of call for meds. By the time I get more money my script will have expired. 😡

From what your saying this is not the level of service you should expect anywhere and I would strongly suggest you consider transferring as this is not usual to be left in limbo like this and please don't be put off MC as their are clinics that are cheap enough to access with much superior levels of service and communication and going by the way it's gone so far you may actually have medication quicker by transferring strangely .

You could transfer to Medicann and probably have some medication by the weekend or early next week at the latest.

No transfer fees, no joining fees, no consultation fees, no repeat prescription fees ... just pay for the medication and delivery, and if you pay before 2:30pm your medication goes out the same day. Scripts are normally approved in minutes, too.

Well update

Clinic says they've had to rewrite prescription today as the pharmacy hasn’t received it and they’re sending it out again today.

I don’t know, just seems convenient with the reasoning/excuses.

Can’t say it’s filled me with much confidence. Where’s the other script, what details are on it etc etc…

Wouldn’t they have to wait on my clinic transferring the information? That could take another three weeks 😂

It’s just all a bit awkward at the moment with the financial side of things until I get back to work.

I didn't have to provide my transfer letter until after I was accepted at Medicann, and I think they even dispensed my first prescription without it.

You could email them to confirm that last part, though.

Welcome @Smee you can always transfer to another clinic once you have your meds mate. Get the ball rolling once you have your meds. Terrible service 😑

Yeah it’s just not good enough really and I hate to be so negative this early on.

I’m hoping it’s teething problems although I will be looking into other clinics simply for a better unrestricted access if Dispensed are indeed so limited even after gaining access with them.

I really feel your pain as a relative newbie to medical. The first month felt traumatic, 2nd month Marginally better and now on my 3rd prescription I’ve managed to build up a sufficient surplus and I think I understand how the system operates. Many days I thought sod this as BM is so easily available. Trying to budget for your first order and trying not to run out of your bm supply is almost impossible. I’ve found it gets easier, the temptation of easy access bm is hard to resist when you are being messed around. Stick with it and good luck on your journey 🙏
