Hello to one and all,

I have been lurking for awhile now trying to read up on as much of the info the site and forums have to offer and I have to say that I am very impressed by the site, its moderation and the helpful users. Its like stumbling across a medical cannabis goldmine.

I have been dealing with long term and fairly serious PTSD for well over 15 years now and I I have had a great deal of experience with cannabis in the past. I recently discovered that I am eligible for medical cannabis here in the UK and have read as many threads and posts on how to best start out and I must admit that the more I have read the more confused I have become lol.

As the name suggests I have limited funds and am in receipt of disability benefits due to a range of physical conditions which are often exasperated by the PTSD so my struggle is trying to find a clinic that may offer some kind of support for people on low income as well as offer a full range of medicinal cannabis flowers.

When looking through the Clinic section I can see that most have Limited Access (to formularies) and a few have Full Access such as CB1 Medical, but when I look at the Pharmacies page it lists CB1 with 81 strains when Curaleaf has over 200. Is there something I am missing here? I have my first appointment with CB1 Medical on Saturday so I thought the best way forward was to ask here before I commit to a clinic right away.

So in short I am looking for a clinic with access to most formularies, that offer some kind of support for people in receipt of disability benefits. I am hoping that some of you might be able to offer me some advice and hopefully point me in the right direction if at all possible?

I am really looking forward to spending a lot more time here to learn from those that have already walked this path and know their way around.

Thank you for your time reading my first post.

Howdy Partner welcome to the Community 👍.
There's a few of us here who are on limited budgets, like myself.
I'd go for Medicann as there are no fees at all just £4.99 postage and thats all you pay, they have a lot of different stock and price drops offers hourly, daily, weekly.
Hope you find somewhere soon 👍

Hi Dooby and thank you for your reply. Your profile clinic says CB1 Medical, did you change from them to Medicaan? I am just having a look at them now! Thanks again for the speedy reply sir.

I tried two other clinics before joining Medicann, and I can't see myself moving on unless I decide that I need a clinician for advice on products.

No fees for life and next-day delivery for orders paid before 2:30 pm.

Check this thread to get an idea of stock and price - https://forums.medbud.wiki/threads/medicann-uk.4640/page-130
Thank you kindly for your input Mr NewWorld! I just finished my online application there, feeling better about it already. Will be working my way through that thread you just shared. Thank you again

Hi again, has anyone here run into the issue of not having a current passport as well as not ever being in possession of a UK drivers license. Basically i have no photographic ID and I am being told by Medicaan that they need one. Does anyone have any idea what I can do? Medicaan do not even have a UK phone number so I can speak to them about it. That's a first for me. A UK based medical company with no means of taking phone calls from current and potential patients seems pretty strange to me. Anyone else here have an issue like this?

Having no phone lines is part of what keeps cost low for them to make it free.

They all ask for photo ID though, so I don't think there's any getting around it. I think you'll need a passport, driving license or maybe even one of those citizens cards that used to be about.

Maybe there's some process they can do with either birth certificates or something but I've been with 4 clinics now and all needed photo ID.

There is some government advice here that may be helpful:

Or this as an alternative

This is free and government-backed, so I don't see how they can refuse it.

You need a passport to apply for a drivers license. Just checked on the .gov website application page. I ended up applying for the Citizen Card and just finished applying for the free Voter Authority Certificate that @LostInANewWorld suggested. Thank you very much for the help again today guys. Really appreciate it.
