Hi, I've been signed off work with a few issues, ive tried a few medications, not really working/getting on with them, so im looking into legal cannabis in UK, i think it would help.
Ive just been doing abit of research, and obviously come across Drewissharing.
From what i can tell, it is still illegal to smoke, even with a prescription in the UK, you can only vape, and youre kind of restricted, on the vape you can use, there are only 3 or 4, you're actually allowed to use.
So how does Drew get away, with smoking it? and promote Mamedica® and whatever, when on mamedica website, FAQ's it clearly says, it is illegal?
No hate, i just genuinly dont get how he shows himself, smoking it, openly for the world to see, just genuinly curious.

Hi there
Welcome to the site and I hope that the research pays off!

I loathe ecelebrities as a default, however have to appreciate the work anyone does to promote the need for medical cannabis at the very least in this country.
As far as your question goes, taking their platform aside, I guess its down to how far an individual is willing to comply with the full rules regarding legality.
For some being fully compliant is absolutely essential for their image and reasons for chosing medical cannabis and that safety net gives them security.
For others they feel that there has been enough hoops to jump through and that the prohibition of combustion is not required. I think that a lot comes down to previous habits too.
In addition thinking about it I am not sure the burden of compliance as far as combustion is on the clinic. I think thats between the individual and the police as far as that goes.

Im sure drew wouldnt cry if Mamedica® took away his uk medical from him and in reality he is earning them mega$$. Probably why is is being so carefree. tldr.

It Just seems very strange, that its so open, everything I can find, clearly says its illegal to smoke, Yes, it probably dosen't have much to do with mamedica, but honestly, that kind of puts me off mamedica, for supplying it to him for money, I understand, its a business, but not a particulary good image, I think. They must know he is smoking it, its everywhere on the internet, just dosen't quite sit right with me.

Just so I am not sued for all the money I dont have, I am not stating or have evidence that the individual concerned is being paid directly to promote the clinic.
Lets just say they have a symbiotic relationship. 🙃
Putting it another way.
Any individual will be fully advised of the law regarding consumption by their clinic. If the individual decides to "misuse" their medication past advice thats on them. Legally medically and ethically.

Honestly I have never heard of this before but it seems true. A bit ridiculous. I am never combusting but I am sticking to my Healthy Rips and Wolkenkraft vapes 😆

Even the doc did not say anything about my HR when he asked what vape do I have

I looked into this more, and apparently this is a misconception.

Vaporizing is the approved method: Your prescription will explicitly state "for vaporization."

The law does not list specific brands of hardware that you must use, the gov't just lists the medically approved devices. It requires you to follow the "directions of a specialist medical practitioner." If your doctor says "vaporize 0.1g," and you use any dry herb vaporizer to do exactly that, you are complying with the medical direction.

Ohh ok, makes sense, as the ones they list are all quite expensive, or you end up spending a fortune on cardboard straws (as i can see on reviews) on the cheaper ones. But there are far cheaper dry herb vapourisers out there, so it dosent really matter which one you have? aslong as it can say, hold 0.1 or whatever is prescribed.
Im still very early on looking into this, just trying to make sense of it all, as best I can

Welcome, yeah you don't have to use specific vape(s), you are just supposed to use a vape. Companies can pay to have their device assessed / stamped as a sort of extra accreditation to help sell them.

As far as the other thing you mentioned, there would appear to be a lot of back scratching, nudge nudge, wink wink, Robert's your dad's brother, good for me good for you type stuff, going on in this here MC 'industry'. All I would say is choose carefully you who listen to / which companies you engage with.

My experience is you will get a much better read of things on forums like this based on aggregated patient feedback than anywhere else
