Site Updates Patient Verifications Synced with Forum Accounts

General updates on development of the MedBud platform as a whole.
Ahead of our verified reviews feature launching, we've synced account verification statuses between database and forum accounts.

If we've matched your database and forum account automatically (via email address), and you've submitted verification info, it'll now show on your forum account. If you've verified on your database account, but it's not showing here (potentially because of a different email address or username) – please email access@medbud.wiki.

Eventually, we intend to merge all systems together, whereby they'll be just one central login for the forum and database overall. Where registering or logging into one, will work for both.

For the moment, we'll be increasingly merging features between both the main database and forums, whereby your public forum profile details will appear on any database reviews once launched.

If when using your database account you see a user icon in a circle as shown below, your accounts are currently synced – and if you see the green shield, your account is also verified:

When accounts are synced, and a database account is verified – your forum account will now show a verified banner, such as the examples below from @bucklez.

In general, we've spent over a year building out our review system – and @BETA Testers have access to a little further information, where we've been seeking some final input and feedback before launch.

Do you have a main database account?


Right now forum and database accounts are separate, but if you use the same email they can be linked up. If you sign-up above, go here and submit a script copy, a photo of a pharmacy dispensing label in your name, a portal screenshot showing your name et cetera - we'll normally check/validate within 24 hours. We don't hold data submitted for verification, and delete it straight after checking.

Eventually sign-up and login will be the same across both, just we haven't quite finished the programming work yet.

Only validated accounts will be able to post public reviews or ratings against meds/clinics/pharmacies etc.

Also just vaping my first flower of the day (morning sun mixed with some HSA). I am trying to slow down on the consumption heading into tolerance break day either tomorrow or Wednesday, depends on pain levels and mood.

Is the document/file upload selected first, or is it just reloading the page even with it? If there's an attachment, there should be a success notice at the top of the page after submitting when it reloads.

Either way, doesn't look like anything's come through on our end yet.

This is down to incorrect login attempts typically, or an activation email wasn't clicked after initially being sent out.

@Fiddlesticks, is it the same email as your forum account? If so, I can find it and manually enable.

If the new system is working correctly, you should get the verified banner here in the next 5 minutes.
