I'm confused by this oil. It's listed as 'Indica' but clearly comes from Sativa strains. Can anybody clarify this?

Good morning @Skalla and I'm thinking you mean the product below and if so we have listed it as Sativa Hybrid for the reasons you state but we have had a few products listed by Curaleaf that have been inconsistent with common knowledge and IIRC they had had Gorilla Glue#4 as an Indica Hybrid in the past and a few other anomalies .

Good morning, hope you are well.

Generally speaking medical cannabis tries to move away the classifications of Indica / Sativa in regards to their proposed effects, ie it's widely considered Indica dominance will induce a more sedative, couch lock feeling as opposed to the uplifting, energetic properties of a Sativa.

The Indica / Sativa classification within a medical setting defines how the plant has grown, Sativas are usually taller in height and take a little longer to reach their full potential during the flowering stage whereas Indicas tend to be shorter and cycle much quicker, they have probably looked at how the cultivation as grown and unfortunately listed it as Indica as you say.

On the up side, MedBud still classifies products based on their lineage/genetics so I would always recommend utilising the information provided on the oils section just to cross reference.
