I'm alright mate! Had an awful 6 weeks or so with my cat missing but we got her back last night so everything is wonderful at the moment.

I dipped from here for a few weeks whilst I was looking for Shelly so that's why you didn't see anything on Tuesday!

Hiw are you doing mate?

Glad you're doing well mate!

Thank you, I'm sure you know what it feels like given you've experienced it yourself but it's an awful experience.

I hope the little one is okay now!

We've just had Shelly's bloods taken at the vets as a precaution but outside of being shaken up she seems largely okay.

She's gonna hate me tomorrow when she has to wear her tracking collar, she doesn't do collars usually.

It's good to be back, during my absence I turned to VAS to bring me happiness. I'm 2 grinders down and looking for a 3rd because they're both shit and on top of that I bought another ball vape 😂.

Have I missed much? Things seem more structured around here!

so if and when they open the formulary for the friend, how does this work here? is everything (which I assume is IPS) available from the beginning, or are there restrictions? friend is primarily looking for sub20% strains anyway
IPS holds seperate stock for Medicann, whilst it's close to the full IPS formulary it is missing some items, but I personally feel there is plenty to pick and choose from.

Once approved everything opens up within the Medicann app or website, you'll be able to see everything from flower, oils, vapes & pastilles ☺️ The only limitation I have seen implemented recently is a "allowance"of around 150 grams.

Did you ever try the 2.5 flower mill? It’s a real eye opener 👍❤️😎

Yep.

But get the standard, the premium steel version still sheds unfortunately, recently discovered by a UK patient as the steel rubs against the softer aluminium.

The standard is all aluminium, so far I haven't noticed that issue happening. I won't lie, as good as the grinder is, this will be Flower Mills 4th device and 3rd with genuine health risks and as a result it'll be my last one I get from them.

I haven't decided what's next. I did pick up a cournot which is basically a chinese knock off of a Santa Cruz Shredder and that started shedding paint flakes on the first grind so I'm probably going to spend a fortune on stainless steel or dare I say remortgage the gaff for a titanium.

I've literally just sent Odin some emails before I purchase 2 of their grinders, so if you're in the market I can let you know what these will be like in around a week or 2.

Oh no! I got the aluminium 2.5 and it just arrived today and am blown away but please share if there have been issues and anything I should watch for. 🙏👍

Did you get the premium one with changeable plates? Or the version with the fixed plate?

The changeable plate version is the one with new issues, I can send you the Reddit thread with the chap talking about it.

I suggest going ceramic if you're worried about shedding. I love this one, hopefully never need to buy a new one lol

Seems the chap deleted the post or got his account deleted. There's a lot of people who sha they have no issues so it could always be a bad unit but given their reputation it may not be worth chancing if you do indeed have the SS version.

I think you showed me this a couple months back! It does look top draw. How often do you clean it?

it really depends on the bud. The terpier BNMs stick to it more, with that I clean it 1-2 weeks, 10 min isopropyl soak, a rub and that's it. With drier, less sticky bud, it stays pretty clean for like a month or more even

Back to Medicann question, friend is now in a weird situation lol

She got an email saying she's approved, there's a prescription, Dr Sunny's name is there, there is a charge for £4.99, but the prescribed items are "placeholders" with a 0 value, and there was NO phone call with the Doc yet. So really not sure about the dummy prescription and the approval.

So what's up with this? Anyone knows? 😁

She just needs to ignore it, she can't actually pay for it. It's the dummy script doing it's thing. I'm fairly sure if you click repeat it should be open to order anything else.

It's standard and it now opens the app up to order ect, ask them to click on repeats even though they haven't had a script yet and the formulary should open up for them 👍

All this is great, we indeed see the formulary but how come we did not have a call, was the medical history and SCR convincing enough? Has anyone heard anything like this? Maybe we should point out that we still need a call, just to have due process?

That might have been the call to excepting, I transferred from another clinic and it was a nurse that called me as they had everything up to date they needed without the doc, it was a quick few questions. If your friend gets in touch with them through the app they can ask to have a call from the doc before starting treatment or go straight ahead and order if they know what works for them.
