Hey so I have been with Alternaleaf for just over a year ... I find the lack of info when trying to find what I want to order really frustrating am I being silly ? My go to stable for the last couple months has been Sundaze® pink cookies t27 ... I really want to learn more and be more confident with what I'm ordering and taking .. I have seizures and cervical and generalised dystonia and have found the perscription really useful for both .. im hoping to find something that helps with my leg pain a bit more without knocking me out ... would love to find some clued up people to talk to and learn from .. but over all hiiiii x

Welcome to MedBud @sunsetsmoke

You're certainly not being silly. Getting real info about terpenes and other canibanoids has been a pain for near enough all of us.

Many of us cross reference with the MedBud product pages to get terpene info but unfortunately it's still not as much info as we'd like!

I'm glad you've found MC to be helping! there's a lot of pain patients around here who can probably give you some fantastic suggestions.

Welcome to the forum, hope you're doing well ☺️

To keep things basic you need to be looking at "terpenes" each has their own therapeutic properties.

Caryophyllene is the only terpene that directly binds to the body's CB2 cannabinoid receptors, which regulate inflammation.

Myrcene has strong muscle-relaxant and sedative properties so may induce that KO feeling you're wanting to avoid, but in lower percentages it could help 100%.

Linalool is associated with calming effects that can reduce anxiety and pain sensitivity.

Limonene offers anti-inflammatory benefits and can help uplift mood, it also has potential to alleviate musculoskeletal pain so this terpene could be key in keeping you alert.

Alpha-Pinene is known for its anti-inflammatory properties, particularly helpful for joint pain and may help with alertness.

Hope this can be of some help to you, if you have a nosey on this link; https://medbud.wiki/formulary/ you will be able to select the terpenes I mentioned above and it will filter products for you to look at ☺️

Might be worth purchasing a little note pad and taking educational notes, or an app on your phone ☺️

Take things one step at a time, absorb small amounts each time instead of overbearing yourself with masses of information and possibly highlight 1/2/3 products that you think could work and potentially give them a go.

We're a friendly bunch so don't be afraid to ask questions or to ask for help 😁

wat bk wen weed wasnt sold in weight, but lids
There was very little flower in UK at that time unless you were or knew one of the few who grew ( how to do it was from books and p2p), or grabbed a bit of Thai, Colombian sometimes. It was all traditional hash rich in CBD, CBN, CBG and all the rest, still love it but much is trash for me now, been there seen that 8(

A lid was slang from the USA iirc, around 1oz.

I'm a new patient and I'm having exactly the same teething issues. I understand the terpenes and what they do, I know what I want but my clinic shows absolutely no information on terpines. So I have to cross reference any strain . It's laborious and even then some strains still have little information. So I'm flitting between my clinic order page, MedBud and leafy to narrow down what is potentially suitable for my conditions. It just seems a bit inefficient for patients to be doing this. It would seem that everyone is in the same boat. Is anyone with a clinic that shows terpene on the prescription order page. Or has anyone suggested that MedBud or clinics include this info at first point of contact. For example in the table where it shows price, clinic, strain ect. It could include, say dominant terp for example. As I'm constantly clicking on strains only to find no terp info or it's not suitable. I guess what I'm saying is the process of finding the perfect medication for each individual is over complicated, inefficient, laborious, overwhelming and frustrating. Don't get me wrong I'm so happy to be in the system but just think the system could be more streamlined and user friendly to allow patients to get the medicine they need quicker and with more ease. Any thoughts?

Welcome and you have my sympathies on this issue and where we can get hold of terpene profiles they are published but the producers are not obliged to produce these profiles and the reason given in the past is cost of this analysis but as batch's are now significantly bigger I see no excuse for these not being provided and some suppliers are great with this like Muzo Health and Grow also along with a few others.

Thankfully as the industry grows we are seeing more information but for those who use terpenes as a starting point as many do it is very frustrating when there is no info on this subject.
