Hi all

I recently was approved with CB1 Medical but have an appointment with Medican also booked

Is it worth me going through the process with medican in case I decide to change?

Can you be registered with 2 clinics? I assume not?

Thanks in advance for all the help

Hey, you are not supposed to have 2 clinics for the same treatment, I would say only go through the onboarding process with another if you don't like the current one

They should be asking for discharge letters from the other clinic before they will take you on (some offer a month grace period)

Hi @Lank72
So just thought this would be worth noting and I’m not great at forums so maybe this could be useful elsewhere in the page (hence tagging you! 🙏) but I had my consultation anyway yesterday with medican, before I advised that I was already with CB1 Medical and said if I think of changing in the future would this consultation (if successful) still be valid and the answer is a resounding yes
So they approved me and there formulary is now open for me however I cannot order until I request discharge from cb1 but if and when I do I just go straight over to medican no consultation to get done!!
Sorry if everyone already knows this and I’m just being a newb just trying to give something back to the community
Big love!

Hey, thanks for sharing.

To be honest I would say this is a bit of an anomalous circumstance where you've effectively queued up another clinic in case you don't get on with the first one, and it may be that it's just Medicann willing to do this, it even may be that it's just in this case because they've aleady gone through the onboarding effort and don't charge a fee for it - I'm not sure that other clinics would view it the same way or would be happy to be on standby like that.

I wonder if they would feel the same way in 3 months etc when your medical history could have changed inbetween; I would have thought they should be re-reviewing.

Anyway, glad it worked out for you, just not sure this is something to advertise or that would come up very often if you see what I mean :)
