Clinics 2 year review

I have had my 2year review with a doctor recently. I don’t want to name my clinic or anything as they will read this but basically it was not a review it was an argument forcing me to lower my medication

I am not very happy about this and can not understand why when they have raised it from 60g to 100g over the last 2 years and then suddenly dropping it by 10g. Is this the way it is going now

That doesn't sound good at all, what was the Drs justification for wanting you to lower your allowance? I appreciate it's a private 1-2-1 conversation so feel free to ignore this comment if you don't want to disclose

Don’t worry it’s just how the medical profession justifies its existence by tinkering around the edges with peoples medication, when not writing reports or giving other recommendations . They are meant to be in charge of your care after all, so I suppose they need to be seen to be doing something. Just my thoughts, but I do work with a bunch of them

minuscule modifications to justify their cliinical reasoning and feed their ego and narcissism, basically.

I probably do overuse but ive rattled though 60 since 26th feb. Probably my crap lungs not able to filter it out and make use of it so I need physically more.

I don't get how they can say it's too much when it works in reality month after month, strange way of thinking if you ask me and the stigma burns hot in them.

Many patients need that much and more and I used to think over 100g sounded a lot until I got to familiar with people needing these amounts and how it works for them.
Genuinely I'm grateful I don't need these amounts as I can treat my MH with an average amount but I absolutely respect the fact others need a lot more to be able to treat their symptoms/illness's best they can.

That doctor was determined to knock something of my script no matter what I said. It was a bad feeling like he was worried about something and just needed me to agree to cut my script

I have never had a doctor cut my medication before like this at such short notice but the again I suppose they know more about cannabis than us

Unless they are one of the very few, it's more likely that they will know less than us. The "qualification" to prescribe MC is gained by taking a very short course and reading a few texts. All those I have spoken with in near 3 years of MC, other than one notable Pharmacist, have been clueless and work from the screen as a prompt.
