Hi all,

I've decided Im going to try carts and have been researching 510 batteries, but there is very little online about them, unlike dry herb vapes.

Ive been looking at the zeus ion and utillian 50 and wondered if anyone has any experience with either?

Thanks!

I can't say I'm experienced with the two you've mentioned but I do have a couple of YouCan devices that I really like. I have the Uni Pro 2 which is just an all round good device and I also have the Ziva Pro which is fantastic for extra stealth.

Googling it, it seems a few people on Reddit have problems with the Zeus Ion and the Utilian I can't find much user experience info on.

I think Youcann are the brand you tend for see more of.

I have the Yocan Uni Pro box mod and you can't fault it at 20£ + it has the preheat function which in this cold weather works surprisingly well !

Thanks everyone for the advice, a lot of you have mentioned Yocan so I'll take a look.
I had read else where that spending a lot isn't necessary but the pre-heat function is pretty important. I'm really surprised there isn't more online conversation regarding cart devices, are carts relatively new to the scene or do people tend to prefer flower resulting in less of a market?

There are no huge differences with these 510-style batteries. You either press a button or do a draw, and it works. It either has variable temp setting and some extras or it doesn't. They all cost around £10-£20.

I ordered another, a bit more stealthy, "cool-looking" CCELL for my London and various city trips, the Palm Pro:

I ordered the yocan uni 3.0 , great little device , small discreet and effective , nice 10sec preheat. If using rosin the preffered voltage is 2.2-2.6 v after that it will start to burn and change , Aurora® resin more thicker so higher than 2.6 is preffered. I prefer 2.3v but i do 2 10 sec inhales with no preheat or preheat and 5 sec inhales , Try and determine if preheat best for you as i found i went through cart faster if using preheat .

https://vapesourcing.uk/yocan-uni-pro-mod.html, cheap and work well

Oh wow, I am just getting Rosin but the CCELLs don't go down to 2.3v, only to 2.8v. Maybe will need to send it back and get the Yocan? 😢

It may change with different terp profiles but from what i see rosin/hash rosin is best taste within that range , The preheat i stopped doing as it goes from low to high heat 1.8-4v , If yocan (lol) get a refund then i would go with uni 3.0 .

With the Aurora® resin, I keep switching between 2.8v and 3.2v depending on mood and ambient temperature. I'll give the hash rosin a go on 2.8v first, maybe don't need to send it back.

The profile will get nuked but it really isnt a big deal to alot of people , You will get that popcorn hashiness to it and will not get the profile back but effects etc will be there with more clouds. There isCheaper batteries that go down to low voltage but you might be content with 2.8v effects n taste

From what I see the zeus ion starts at 2.6 which is on the higher end of the preferred voltage. So assuming having a device that offers a wider range of voltage is best?

Its prefferable to me and alot of others see that range the best but higher end voltage might suit , Yes i think its best for rosin but resin and disty that would defo suit at higher voltage.

I got the yocan uni 3.0 for about 20 quid from a local shop after I told him it was £24 on Amazon or I'll take it off him there and then

Don't have a comparison but I've found it good for the rosin vape cart I got. Still got it
