6 weeks after reporting mould and still no resolution. They are still supposedly conducting an investigation, not into the actual mouldy flower I found though I hasten to add, as there has been no attempt or even feigned interest in collecting it from me. You could argue these things take time but Ostara resolved the same issue in just 48 hours so that for me is where the bar is set. Either look at the photos and draw the same obvious conclusion as everyone else who has looked at the photos or if you don’t believe me, collect the flower and really conduct an investigation. Anything else for me is a total farce.

So what happened ultimately? I think I have seen some update in some other thread briefly?

If it's not sorted, I wonder what would happen if you reach out directly to the Big Man himself, he seems approachable. I understand it's not his responsibility but PR wise it might be the good, gentle kind of pressure you need to move stuff ahead.

After much pestering and patience on my part, Medicann eventually relented and credited me out of their own pocket to order a replacement around the 8 week mark.

Now I have had a refund, no thanks to Big Narstie, I will simply vote with my wallet as it were and not buy their products again.

It’s too late for good PR in my opinion, what’s done is done. The had plenty of time. Maybe in fact they should spend less time on PR and pratting about on YouTube and more time on quality control and investigations.

Sad to hear! I'll continue closely inspecting their bud based on this (and Northern Leaf in general, since ultimately they're growing and controlling it), but so far I just could not find anything equally good for the price.

I received 10 grams of this 06/02/26. It had an expiry of 23/04/26. Batch 260123001.
Given the reports of mold i've given it a good inspection and i can't see or smell any.
My inspection also include a test of .15 grams of the leftovers from weighing.
The short date has muted the flavor and smell, it looks quite old.
In terms of effects though, I found it to be really good actually, slows everything down mentally for a while and really relaxes any muscular tensions.

Was hoping for some sort of gorilla glue kush type hit and smell. Sadly it wasnt this, but it was decent. A bit of a fruity berry on the smell, Peppery kushy on the taste buds. But, not overly strong in both departments I found. Buds where super dry, rock hard nugs. Effect was a nice evening kushy hit. Fine at teh new lower prices this can be picked up for.2
