Hello everybody,

I thought I'd start a thread to discuss the new CB1 Medical app as I am currently having a few issues with it and I'm guessing others will too. So we can have a little place to help each other through the transition to the new system!

I'm thinking

Device:
android \ apple \ pc
Title:
A short title of what you are having an issue with when using the app
Issues:
More information on what you having trouble with and what you have tried sofar.

WARNING:
Do not share any personal information, passwords, screenshots of the app with identifying information or any other identifying information. Double check before posting. This is your personal medical information. If an issue requires this kind of trouble shooting email cb1 medical directly for help.

This is more of a rouble shoot to make a user guide for new users

I'll start with my issues in a new post below to show the layout style I feel could work best for people trying to help
-------------------------

Android
What does THC limit reached mean?
And where did all the strains go?

I am currently trying to request some medication as part of my monthly allowance, I added a new strain to my basket and when trying to add a second that is 20+ % I am given a THC limit reached message instead of it saying add.

Also the strains offered on the repeated prescription page is quite limited compared to looking at the formulary we are used to seeing also the stock levels all seem different from the original formulary.

Just got prescribed today doc says will be 60g flower30% THC + 56 20mg gummies. Went on app prescription just has 10g of some lemon stuff I wouldnt buy anyway. Is this normal or is the app glitchy?

It's just a link they send you to start a video call. Took around 20 min just discussing few things about my medical history and my past use of cannabis as a medicine. Very relaxed I had Dr Simon Torduff, he was a lovely man to deal with.
Today I just had a normal phone call lasted around 10mins no video.

I recently migrated from Releaf to C1B.
I couldn't made a better choice.
At the end of November there were few issues because they changed the IT system. But everything is now resolved.
Communication was great, so the service.
With Releaf, although nice people, you can choose between two or three strains, the strongest has %21 THC and it costs £8 per gram.
With CB1 Medical it costs £6-6,50 per gram.
Let's not mention the fixed fees.
With CB1 I save £500 per year and since I live on benefits (100% disabled) to me it's a lot of money.
Then, in my last prescription the strain with the lowest percentage of THC was a pure Sativa with 29% THC.
The others more than 30%.
At the moment I strongly believe it is the best clinic around

Hi. Good to hear you are finding a good alternative for your medical needs.

The app launch was rocky for a few days but I've been able to use it no problem since.

I just wish they would add some more info to the product information when selecting strains, such as irradiated type and a bit of the cross lineage would be nice. But I just check the formulary if needed or jump on to MedBud.

Plenty of brilliant info to be had.

The Script Assist platform they're utilising actually does support linking to MedBud - infact for every product recorded on their database, a link to MedBud is already provided and even required.

There are some things going on behind the scenes I can't properly talk about yet publicly, but suffice to say we need to fully solve a compliance issue in order to better both platforms moving forward.

We will eventually be providing a full automated API for other platforms to utilise, and some clinics have expressed interest to tie into their own prescribing platforms. We are not yet providing sufficient means for Script Assist to automatically pull info from our database.

Any issue I have had has been fixed as soon as they have been made aware. I cant falt the clinic, even my issues have been a good experience to get resolved. No bouncing from person to person. Just a quick call and a chat.

I always say that everyone makes mistakes but in business, as in the rest of life, it's how those problems/mistakes get resolved which tells you everything you need to know

If they would move from 3-month consultations to yearly after first year I think I'd be switching already...

From what I can tell from CB1 Medical reviews (google and trustpilot) the app is working pretty well now and folks are happy.
One of the reviews said "2 day delivery from point of order" last week. People working hard there.

There are some compliance considerations here, without name-dropping, the first clinic to try move past quarterly consultations had to put in a procedure to go through common safe-guarding questions for specialists to consider. More commonly over the past year, specialists have numerous others working under them via 'shared care' to provide this kind of feedback. This allows clinics to utilise specialist nurses, GPs, prescribing pharmacists etc. - which overtime has become the common practice.

Seems this way to us too, we watch a ton of feedback via social media daily (y)

Yeah makes sense, just for me, any interaction of this type is very difficult. I'd prefer it was a system where I go to them to raise issues rather than have any set appointments, but I understand why that's not realistic or indeed safe.

My GP on the other hand had no problem knocking out endless repeats for SSRIs without seeing me at all...

I only ever deal with my specialist directly, it can still be found at some clinics - but unfortunately is becoming harder and harder to find. To protect their own profitability, clinics are trying to stretch that £200/ph+ specialist cost as far as possible within regulations.

Just finding out with CB1 Medical if you live outside England they can't obtain your SCR, so that's a bit of a spanner in the works for some .

Potential patients should obtain there own SCR really makes it easier to jump ship quickly if needed. Also you might find your SCR wildly inaccurate like mine but it still doesn't matter.

You say that @node ,I know someone that took about 4 months of to and froing and still vital parts /doctors notes missing and it's caused all sorts of problems ,they even got prescribed only to be denied by the pharmacist ,went into a slump mentally and health took a big downward spiral since , recently I've advised them to try elsewhere but they cant face it all again but I'm determined ,and notes surrounding a prescribed medicine 20 years ago are still not traceable.

sorry to hear thats awful. Some clinics and pharmas are terrible and at least my exp in the NHS (mental health) showed they couldn't care less.
