I had a fellow medicinal user get her Curaleaf medication delivered today and inside were two welcomed packs of Integra Boost 55, It was nice to see them including them. Long may it continue, would love to see all clinics doing this!

Started application with Curaleaf in late Dec '24. Had initial consultation 2nd week of January '25, was accepted in the middle of the 3rd week of January and received my first medication a couple of days later.
I've booked my follow up consultation for the middle of February and it will be just short of 28 days since my medicine first arrived.
It's just past 3 weeks since the issue date of my first prescription.
On the Curaleaf patient portal, under prescriptions, I can see the option to "request more", and elsewhere on the website I've read that you can request more 3 weeks after the issue date of your last prescription.
So my question is does that apply to me, or as this is my "follow up" consultation, do I need to wait until that consultation has been and the Dr I meet with will issue my 2nd prescription, and then use the "request more" feature on the portal from then onwards? Or can/should I request more medicine before that follow up consultation?
I should add that I do potentially want to make a slight change to my prescription. I am happy with both strains I've been given, and I'm happy with the 30g size of my prescription, but my prescription is a 20g:10g ratio of daytime:nighttime strain whereas I've found that I use both almost equally and am finding a need to conserve the nighttime strain to stretch it the month. So I'm considering requesting to increase the prescription of the nighttime strain so that the ratio is 20g:20g, although I intend to still only consume 30g per 28 days, but don't have to worry about running out of one quicker than the other. Ideally I'd get 15g:15g but obviously it's only 10g bags...
I know when you click "request more" it asks for more details and if you'd like to make a change to the prescription, etc, but again, just not sure if that applies to me or if I need to wait for follow up first.
Also, generally, what are the rules about length of time between prescriptions? Like, if my prescription was 40g but I only use 30g per month, is it possible to refill my prescriptions every 5-6 weeks instead of 28 days?
Good to see your up and running @BudGuy and your right to act proactively in this matter and I would suggest you contact your clinic on this as it looks like the timescale is super tight and if you were to request more early you probably would still be stuck on 30grams where as it looks like 40 grams is much more suited as you are having to compromise your use at present if that makes sense and it gives you that little bit of extra scope if something goes wrong or your use rises .

This will be done on your consultancy and maybe you can contact them and explain that you may run short and could the consultancy be changed for an earlier date so you can sort/adjust your next prescription in time ? At the same time this will raise awareness that you may run out prior to receiving your next meds.

Prescriptions can only be prescribed to cover 30 days is my understanding so it may be a case of order 30grams one month 40grams the next and that'll bring it into sync.

Good luck with it as it seems you only need a slight adjustment as your already happy with your strains and you've had a good switch to medical by the looks of it
I had my appointment yesterday and got a new prescription different strains and higher THC.. my script for this month expires on 27th it's showing as inactive on my portal and nothing of the new one, can anyone give me info as I'm worried il be left with none come next week.
Welcome tot the forum @colg25 and I would suggest you definitely contact them tomorrow to clear this up rather than leaving it to risk and it might be something simple like them changing your products to the new strains but often when you see a potential snag like this its best to point it out to them and get clarity.

Mon: Consultation, Prescription Letter available immediately after
Tue: No activity. I presume because there's a slight change to the size of my script, some sort of background approval goes on at this time.
Wed: Prescription "issued" and sent to pharmacy
Thu: Prescription received by pharmacy, order made
Fri: Prescription dispatched
Sat: Prescription arrives
It's basically a week's lead time because each step seems to take about a day. You should be good for having your new prescription arrive before the 27th.
In the portal, go to your appointment, there should be an options list that gives you the prescription letter from your latest appointment, even if it hasn't been issued yet.
But yeah, also phone them up and see if it's possible to still purchase on your last prescription up until 27th.
Yea I had my appointment yesterday it's a completely new prescription with stronger strains..
I'm gonna give them a call tmrw
To make sure it's ready for when my current one expires on the 27th
I'm travelling in a few months time and may take my prescription with me. So, just in case, I thought I'd organise the travel letter now.
Curaleaf recommend allowing up to 30 days for the letter request to be processed, so I went ahead and did it now. The letter came through the very next day, but obviously it gives details of my February prescription, but it will actually be my April prescription that I travel with.
So my first question is - should I request a new travel letter after the prescription I'll be travelling with comes in, or should the letter I have now be sufficient?
Or should I keep some of my February prescription until April and take that so it matches? Or does the prescription described in the letter have to be current at the time of travel?
And my second question is in general, how do I square this circle of requesting the travel letter early enough that it gives Curaleaf up to 30 days to process it while ensuring the the prescription I'll be travelling with is the one described in the travel letter?

It happen to me 2 days ago and contacted them and emailed patient support and it was sorted out. Usually when you’ve been given a new strain the other prescription became inactive, if you would like the prescription not to be changed just email patient support and they will get it fixed immediately. Happy Friday everyone
Just FYI, I have just realised that there are a handful of strains on Curaleaf's Formulary do not have a "daytime" or "nighttime" designation, and therefore only show when you select "all" in the suggested usage category. Leads to those strains being easily missed - I wasn't aware of them until a couple of them appeared in my alternative medication options for my next script and I'd never seen them before.
Also, when I first started with Curaleaf I seen vape devices available on their formulary also, but after a couple of weeks they'd disappeared, however when I contacted customer services they were able to arrange a prescription and delivery of a device very quickly, so it just seems their formulary is not always that up to date and it's worth asking customer services for something even if you don't see it there. It definitely raises the curious question - what else might be available on the formulary that's now shown?
