Oils Does oil lose strength over time?

I’ve started using oil - currently THC 20 CBD <5 with a small amount of high CBD oil at the same time.
I’ve had a few illnesses and not taken oil during them which means my oil I just used up was from December. I started a fresh bottle today and found the oil was much more potent. My question is whether the newer oil is stronger or the old one was losing strength over time?

No not in my experience, I often find the last bit of the bottle stronger but I think that’s when I haven’t shaken it enough before each dosage and it gets a bit concentrated at the end.

Thanks…must be something else then, Not upped dose but I’ve been ‘impaired’ for hours whereas I normally get less effect and it wears off after about 3 hrs

I think sometimes it depends on what has been consumed as it can speed up the processing of the THC. I think fatty foods do.
