This was bred by matteo suleyman sea to sky canada, Heard bubba named it death but more than likely rumor, there is a thread on icmag about variation cut compared to seed, Prob an s1 of the line cos looking into recessive sensi star x critical mass produces alot of grapefruit so prob coming from sensi star in death star. Still not tried yet lol but the bubba we know is musky coffee earthy but remember it is a Hybrid so.. but going on other ppls accounts then deffo different.

Yep, I was buying both death bubba and the original bubba on the DW, never had anything that was remotely like this sold as a bubba. I get that if they selfed it then there is the potential for anything in it's genetic makeup to pop, this is where the selector does their job... to me it's like growing NL5 x Haze and selling an expression that is pure NL5 as NL5 x Haze.

Full disclosure I'm only so passionate as I fricking love Bubba K and Death Bubba. That appreciation is borne out of having smoked an absolute tonne, yet never found myself getting bored or too tolerant to it.

If any of the uk importers are looking for a tester of Indicas and Indica dom Hybrids I am available for a reasonable rate.

100% agree and going by all descriptions it should be bubbaesque at the least but not sticking out to say it is , Trying it just now but its ok but nothing special . Wouldnt buy again , more of a Sativa than Indica but 1 dimensional not much onset so no peaks or valleys.

Bubba is 1 of the more stand out strains there is too so shouuld be hitting ye in face with terpenes

OMG I just checked out 4C Labs facebook page. You can literally smell the reek of public school boys from a mile down wind. As for the nationalistic dress up dog that was me sold on not touching them ever again.


And yes of course I had a piss n moan about their bubba

Been in uv jar overnight and grapefruit terp has mellowed and some buds smell of anise so like that liquorice faint smell i got yesterday , There is 1 report of anise in a review and pine in there also but not detected earth skunk or bubba type smell , will leave out jar then try soon. But anise smell is interseting

Had an enjoyable time with this last night , knocked me out , smelling of aniseed and metalic terp that i couldnt pinpoint where i have smelled this profile before and it was ripper seeds zombie kush i always thought that metalic terp in zombie came from amnesia but looks maybe the bubba couldv`e played a part in it.

never had a death bubba before but im in love with this. for one i think its worth the money for effects and taste

maybe it should have been called something else but who cares if it works and you dont feel it wasnt worth the price
cos lets be fair, thats the be all and end all.

if it smells like a mouldy old sock in the bag but smokes like a box of nerdz being inhaled via a straw and gives you the desired effects (mood,releaf,etc..) for a decent length of time and you dont feel like youve paid too much for it, i think thats all what we want to be honest

names, numbers, blah blah blah is all well n good but its like owt you buy, you just want it to be worth what you paid

It’s been called, hubba bubba, death hubba, bubba bubba and Death Bubba in this household . Batches do differ, got the Death Bubba batch A265124 exp:20/07/25, 10.26g which is no where near as pungent smelling or as strong effect or as long lasting effect as the last batch, still good though and would buy again. The last one stunk the house out like bm stuff hence I couldn’t keep my nose out of the bag.

I'm just thinking is this stuff I used to get in coffeeshop 36 In the mid to late 90's I'd say it was as I'm sure that was hubba bubba or bubba bubba and was a favourite at the time .

I kind of disagree @Weedbie , I expect that when a recognised strain name is used then it should be the expected expression of that strain with the associated effects. I shouldn't be playing a strain lottery when I'm paying above BM prices. Real Death Bubba works for me, what I was sent doesn't.... so I feel the name matters as it is a representation of the medicinal benefits I expect.

If you want to sell a pheno of Death Bubba that nobody else does, then do what everyone else does and rename it like the below and indicate that it is a different phenotype to the accepted norm?

Hubba Bubba was usually used for the expression that was more pink bubblegum leaning.....

Possibly Grey Area’s Bubble Gum? I remember that well as was a winner at the High Times Cup 1994/1995. That was an experience, those days it was only a small gathering of a few hundred rather than a few thousand people .

Wish I'd of gone to a cup but never did but my mates went to a few over the years and I started going Dam in 94 so it's probably about the right timelines for bubble gum.

I agree with aniseed! It's not that same grapefruit diesel terp that gives me heartburn ect I'm quite enjoying this. I do have plenty to rotate though that probably helps.

Do you remember that diesel strain Grey Area had? It was their own genetic i think and had either grey or area in its name i can't remember?
