Flower Flower Pricing and a look UK Industry Costs .

Good ol' ass backwards UK.

I don't know what the answer here is but my gut feeling is that without subsidised clinic access many patients wouldn't be able to gain treatment and I think that's rather important.

I'm not sure cheap meds really matter if the barrier for entry is unscalable for many.

For those that could afford the high entry fees then of course higher quality at a lower price point will always make sense.

Legal background here. This post pushed me into a deep dive into pharma regulation (defintely not my speciality/background, and I won't be diving in competition law, which is an arcane field). I don't want to write anything yet as there's always something to be missed or misunderstood (usually cleared up in case law), but from what I've read so far, assuming these legal frameworks apply to medical cannabis clinics, too, then either (a) regulators are failing to uphold the laws they exist to uphold (b) there are blatant ethical violations by MC pharmacies (which would be scandalous and a real feast for the media) or (c) clinic/pharmacy combos are directly breaching a few laws.

The consequences for a first time breach like this would basically be a slap on the wrist, BUT it would again serve as media fuel AND it would tarnish the pharmacies' reputations.
