UK Glass Pharms Announces New UK Supply Deals as it launches Premium Range

Glass Pharms, the UK-based cultivator of medical cannabis flower, has announced a supply agreement with Integro & IPS Pharmacy to provide them with a new premium range of Glass Pharms-branded CBPMs made with domestically grown flower cultivated at the Glass Pharms facility. These will be available from IPS Pharmacy for patients at Integro and Medicann clinics, as well as for patients at other UK clinics

IPS has been prescribing Glass Pharms-derived CBPMs since earlier this year with good patient feedback. This provided confidence to progress in expanding the range with five newly available products based on cultivars produced by the cultivation company.

“We are delighted to announce this direct supply agreement following a period of evaluation where IPS has been prescribing products based on Glass Pharms brand with very positive patient feedback,” said Glass Pharms’ CEO James Duckenfield.

Glass Pharms is the first UK-based cultivator to launch products domestically.

“We look forward to expanding the availability of CBPMs based on cultivars grown by Glass Pharms and adding some new prescribing options that will broaden the range.”

Tony Dutta, CEO of IPS Pharma, added: “We are pleased to be supporting a UK-based supply chain that gives patients surety over continuity of their prescribing needs. Glass Pharms have set out an excellent set of quality standards, achieving microbial standards without irradiation, excellent environmental credentials and zero airmiles. They are also delivering against patient needs with balanced and CBG flowers that can be challenging to fulfil elsewhere.”

Glass Pharms continues to scale production capacities at its 2.4-hectare facility in Wiltshire, which combines best-in-class sustainability credentials with a quality-by-design approach to microbial safety in the production of medical cannabis flower.

The UK medical cannabis market continues to demonstrate healthy growth year-on-year as the supply chain matures, import options become more uncertain and private treatment becomes more affordable.

My opinion on the sudden change of SDO to a racier pheno is that they were ramping up capacity to produce their new carts, loose flos production was moved somewhere and/or phenos changed. Though dudding is a serious issue too ofc.

I emailed Aurora® at the time politely asking for an explanation = zero.
I weren't that keen on their Aurora® Frozen 'Cif' Lemon to be honest

Last strain i tried from Glass Pharms was el chivo and its sad to see cannabis like this , Its clean and no discolour but it doesnt clump together when ground even a little , When THC stability matters. All other cannabinoids and terpenes / flavourants are obliterated by freeze drying . You are killing a profile thats very theraputic to most . Take it to the emerald cup and see how it does lol stone last . Its NOOBNUGZ!

I've grabbed both their First Class Funk and Dalgety's Marshmellow OG this month to see how I find them. My prior experience with Glass Pharms (over a year ago) was incredibly poor, to echo some comments here, chlorophyll like taste, dead terpenes, styrofoam like texture et cetera.

Maybe six months ago we were informed their production processed changes, but bluntly, I haven't read any real change in feedback since then - beyond a couple of people commenting it was a little better.

Worried I've wasted my money again, but I guess I'll find out shortly.

Any feedback on the Marshmellow OG would be much appreciated, been tempted by Dalgety since their High Society release and the positive reports that have followed.

As for Glass Pharms, we had 10g of Tangerine Boost in December, everything you mentioned is correct, the most awful experience and in with only a handful of products where we haven't finished the 10g 😔

For some reason I thought Dalgety was based in Dalgety Scotland which is a few miles from me.
Imagine my disappointment when I found out it was based in Derbyshire.

Still, its on my list of growers to try. Wanted to try some of their high society but noticed the newer batch was lower THC if that even means anything.
Lots to get around to though...

It is named after them, infact someone from Scotland with the Dalgety surname has been complaining about the Dalgety brand on Twitter for years now - apparently the name was appropriated from something originally to do with their family 🤷‍♂️

I haven't actually tried them yet at all, because their initial Korean BBQ had pretty poor reviews at the time. I've heard much better things about the High Society since then.

There's three different HS phenotypes, all with different THC ratings, that Dalgety chose to release separately - different batches too.

Ah thank you for the deep lore. No complaints from me! I was just gonna see if they needed a hand was all.

I liked the cross and need to give UK growers some love. Surely its fresher ?

This phenotype should be the freshest batch:

They had a really interesting article on irradiation and transparency. I was in a rabbithole reading last night.
It went into the right amount of technical detail for me.

Will give the high society a whirl and thanks again for info.

I've tried their Alchemy and Chemog. Both, respectfully sound well cultivated in my book! Flavour wise, unusual to say the least!
