I was worried about storage of my medical flowers, so decided to use the same method I have used for my homegrown peppermint tea.

These are made by HERB GUARD and are dark super strong glass, screw top totally sealing no smells or air movement, and UV protected so it does not matter where you keep them, each comes with a set of 2 stick on labels. I'm using the 250ml size as it's ideal for 10-20-30gramms. Each comes supplied with a humidity bag keeping the contents at 62% moisture which is recommended for most herbs. They are however £20 each at amazon, so expensive, but high quality. "Herb Container - Half Oz Smell Proof Jar & Humidity Pack (250 ml) Airtight UV Protection Keeps Herbs Fresh for Months" Link

Very nice and with the price we pay for our meds storage is vital allied to that the fact that it can improve some drier stuff makes it value if you already know how effective they are , just recently bought some kilner jars but yours look much nicer on the eye

Psst, lots of sellers rebrand the same jars from the exact same Chinese supplier. I've owned quite a few over the years.

You can get these for about £9 bulk on eBay, I previously queried the seller and he'd go even lower on 10+.

Worth watching AliExpress too, as sometimes they pop up for £4-5 (plus postage) - wasn't any last time I checked though.

Literally bought 14 kilners when I joined the forum and already had about 5 or 6 bigger ones ,then the empty pots as I've still got most of them ,turning into a bit of a joke really with two scripts now as well. Thinking of doing a wish list for next year and month by month just tick 1 or 2 things off it till we've got all bases covered storage and medical hardware wise.

If anyone buys stash jars make sure they are uv resistant, unless the jars are being tucked away in the dark somewhere, at the right temps too. Flower lasts longer if stored in glass containers.

Aye I've used the 250ml one of these as my main herb storage jar for a number of years now.

It does the job well enough. The lid is plastic and bit cheap, and the airtightness comes from a cheap white ill-fitting stick pad stuck to the inner side of the lid which gets nasty looking after a while and if you take it off to clean it it's very difficult to put back on properly because the tolerances are so tight. It also doesn't clean that great, and probably should be a serviceable part to be honest. Will probably swap it for an appropriate sized rubber gasket at some point if I can, but ideally I wouldn't have to.

I also do find it a little big for 10g, which is the size of the average prescription bag, so I don't know if it's ideal. Based on their suggestion of 500ml = 1oz, then a 10g jar ideal size would be 180ml, maybe 200ml to make room for a moisture pack. Not a massive difference, but it is quite a chunky jar and any space saving would be good, and is better in terms of moisture control etc.

I will say that a major downside is not being able to see your nugs. Sometimes I just want to give them a wee inspection and sniff those terpenes, etc, and the black jar makes it difficult.

If they made it sort of shorter/fatter, and improved the airtight mechanism it would be perfect. Been looking for something like that for a while but never found anything yet that does the job.
