Evening all, Ex-forces here living in County Durham. I suffer with PTSD and bad with anxiety and depression. Just applied for medical cannabis and now awaiting my Summary Care Record, then got an appointment with Alternaleaf on the 28th. I have also applied with CB1 Medical as i see they offer free appointments to Ex Forces. Hoping the green brings me some calm. Will keep you posted.

Welcome to the Community Forum @PTSDank hopefully you'll have your prescription soon. CB1 Medical has been a good clinic for me so far, you do get free sign up and Consultations if your ex armed forces with CB1 Medical. Anything you feel you need to ask there's plenty of us here to help guide you along, its a great lovely knowledgeable place to come to. Keep us informed how you get on

Hey and welcome to the community! Might be worth considering Medicann too as they're totally free to everyone, I was previously with cb1 and didn't work out for me but if you don't mind your pharmacy controlling your monthly allowance/consumption and THC restrictions then they will be great for you. MediCann give you free reign to choose what you want and don't stick you on an unrealistic allowance so its more closer to how you'd be with Black Market. I think Alternaleaf are the same in terms of allowance you may be limited monthly so just be aware of that.

I'm feeling so anxious that i will be rejected from getting MC. I have been self prescibing through someone i know but i no longer have that option open to me so i cant stop being concerened about if i do get rejected then what my options are. I dont want to have to turn to the dark web because thats all too much of a hassle and it would mess with me even more knowing its illegal and more likely to be caught.

Don't be deterred if one refuses you as they have slightly different criteria from clinic to clinic and the two you have applied to have a good track record on looking at each case on an individual basis and don't be afraid to mention you have been self medicating as this will also reassure the clinician you can tolerate cannabis and have experience of it .
These are feelings many of us had pre appointment but I'm sure they'll put your mind at rest and guide you through it as you seem a prime candidate to benefit from MC
