@Sunshine it looks like you've got things lined up nicely from your end and I would say many patients have conditions that MC is accepted for but the medicine also helps them with other conditions ,like a positive side effect and I'd imagine this would count as a positive in your conversations with your consultant .
The THC ranges you have selected sound middle of the road to me and while not knowing exact policy, I wouldn't fret about asking for product within that range, especially as you have 20 years BM experience.
Once again don't over worry ,nearly their now and the choice of pharmacy stuff I'm not quite sure myself yet ,I would say by your next prescription it will be clearer as more new patients share their experiences.

Well guys - had my 1st consultation on Sunday... Was approved by the MDT a few minutes ago

It was VERY refreshing to have someone listen to and agree with my symptoms and self medicating. I felt seen, understood, and supported.

Pretty sure I had over prepared - the consultation was quite basic IMO. That said, my SCR is particularly tidy, straight to the point, and with no adverse signs / reasons to decline. I was open about my BM use for the past 20 years, but have also stopped setting fire to it, and am quite taken with dry Vaping it - so much more flavour and consistency in effects

Just waiting for the agreed prescription to hit the pharmacy. App actually says "Awaiting Prescription Receipt: Pharmacy awaiting physical prescription from your doctor".

I'm so very excited and only slightly emotional about receiving something medical, approved, consistent, and hopefully, helpful The strains for this month will be capped at 25%, a review in 4weeks.

Congratulations @Sunshine ,and at least overthinking it passes the time waiting for the appointment . You'll soon be up to speed with what's available and hopefully feeling the benefits that MC brings , took a week for most of my wife's first script to arrive, but it did say that on the app so just letting you know as some peeps can get a tad anxious at the point.
Already see your up an running in other threads so again welcome.

Just wanted to offer an update for anyone looking into CB1 Medical as a clinic...

12th / 13th Nov (midnight, as you do) - installed App, uploaded documents, enquiry was submitted.

13th Nov (7.30pm) - enquiry was accepted, booked and paid for first appointment.

24th Nov (Sunday 12pm) - 1st consultation was a video call with MC Dr via the App, verbally approved, but waiting for the MDTs approval.

25th Nov (Monday around 12pm) - MDT approved, waiting for physical prescription to be received by Pharmacy.

28th Nov (11.50am) - Prescription received, payment link sent, payment settled.

Just waiting for the prescription to be dispensed and dispatched now, will update on receipt!

I put this off for TWO YEARS and it took just two weeks

Timing is everything I guess

If you've been putting it off for whatever reason, let this be your sign

I've cried about it a lot lol. I'm sure others can relate to the overwhelm. Not sure if shock, finally some validation, relief... or just my symptoms acting up haha. Should be less emotional about it when the script arrives!

To be quite frank I think wife is a bit emotional about it ,but hides it well ,sort of, she definitely seemed overwhelmed thinking how the oil could work and how she'd know an so on. The fact people/us have been shunned by the NHS for the mere mention of canna in the past ,YES the validation bit I bet is sure emotional for you.
Lets hope your script is with you to use before you know it.

Oh yes. If you're anything like me, it will have been all of them in a sort of mad horrendous tea-cup type brain ride.

I put it off because of the pricing at the time. It doesn't take long does it, I keep telling people, even now, they keep putting it off

I've not tried I just looked at what was due in next few days and put order in. This is my first order. I'm just waiting on it to be sent out which should be today I'm hoping. I can't afford any more street weed that's for sure. So I'm laying in bed now unti it arrives doing as little as possible.

As per your previous advice @GrownHealth, I have spent some time and meticulously researched their current available formulary within my budget. (Money is particularly tight, especially as I'd like to upgrade to the S&B Mighty Medic soon! )

I've made notes of a few, all around the 20-25% range, predominantly Sativa dom Hybrids. I can (hopefully) communicate why I feel those specific type are beneficial to me during the day.

I have 'accepted conditions' and formal diagnoses for MC, but in honesty, the MC is most helpful for a condition I'm not yet diagnosed with... And I'm not sure how that conversation will go during my consultation, or if I should even mention it.

The whole pharmacy delivery thing - I'm still learning about! Does that mean one could order from Formularies outside of CB1 Medical? - apologies if that's a daft question... Having a little brain fog today

Yes you can but you will obviously have to pay the extra postage. I believe something is being worked on across the board where patients should not have to pay extra postage from another pharmacy? PYou can with some clinics, some clinics will only prescribe flower from their own pharmacy.

Get ur orders in before cutoff they really busy and having tech problems. I been waiting a while for dispensing now. I suspect there will be massive delays over xmas
