Industry Let me see those trichomes!

Crossed my mind your blessed with option and get the right strains and you can't go wrong really
Reminds me, I'll sieve my first run bubble tommorow and see if can get a good macro shot of that, it usually looks great under a 60x pocket microscope, pure heads as far as the eye can see

Hopefully be a bright day tomorrow and I can have a closer look at my new ones under the scope and a couple of months and I'll transfer to the shed/garden and be better equipped:sneaky:

I have a cheap motion sensing light I am using for now and have a flash for my camera but seems better without flash.

My back garden that is I hasten to add. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I gathered ;) Was going to say I have to start a little later here, My sunflowers flowered last year but I don't think they had time to mature the seeds, not seen any birdies attacking the dead heads.....

Oddly the golden whatever it is that is outside in a planter has not only survived a few snowfalls but also still has flowers, the ones sown in between the rocks on the rockery are at best overwintering at worse dead. Chillies on windowsill still got fruit on them :)

Just tidying up really but I've not spent time in my garden for ages and I love a coffee in the morning outside with the dogs and I just get inspiration and start pottering about and after a month or so it's lovely with minimal cost as its mainly effort.

Lovely shots! I don’t use any extension tubes, just the lens, I also use 2 constant lights and a speed light.

I’d say increase your Aperture to maybe around 5.8 - 8ish that will make the detail slightly sharper!

Also, the sigma is fully manual, the only settings to change really are the aperture and the focus , you should always keep ISO to 100.
I always keep my aperture around 5.6 to 11 F/Stops and the only setting I change when im shooting is the focus, moving the focus from front to back with each shot to then throw em into my focus stacking software to compile the full focused shot.
If I don’t use the focus then I move whole camera forward tiny steps at a time to focus from front to back to then Stack

Thanks, I'll give it a try later, appreciate you taking the time to explain, best find me some focus stacking software for the mac OS

Just remembered, if you happen to have photoshop, there’s also a method which kinda focuses on stacks too.
It’s not perfect, but does work! I first used it too when I started, before getting into it professionally
