That's all super helpful everyone, thanks. Helps support the info I've accumulated from research across the net. I'm avoiding Qwest currently, Grow, Tyson 2.0, probably Curo.....looking for Craft Bot, 4Labs, PeaceNat. Aurora®, AAAA, and open to a some others.
I've lived 5 years in Canada just before legalisation, it was a funny time because pharmacies of all sizes were everywhere and the government were fine about it....it was like walking into a sweetie shop as a kid with huge amounts of super high quality products which you could look at, examine, have chats about with staff etc. I had a friend with a small chain of MC pharmacy stores there, it was an astonishing time, freely open like Holland (lived there for 2 years) but magnified 100 fold. Anyhow, what i definitely know is that Canadians can grow bud to super high levels of quality, often surpassing the Dutch in my opinion.
Anyone reading this thread, please do leave your opinions according to on-going experience. Particularly about poor quality bud - this video speaks volumes -
hence my adding Qwest to the no list, but it's not first negative I've seen about Qwest. Obviously if the community here and shares with Reddit etc start getting a clear picture of growers who more regularly than not provide unacceptable product, then sales for those companies should drop off heavily and the market should respond by losing those growers or the growers transform their quality control. I think the key thing is to have some sort of single thread of information that everyone knows to go to for this purpose. I've found it mindboggling having to spend days going through all the forums, videos etc and I'm fine about that but thinking of new patients, it's clearly going to make a large number of peoples lives less stressful if we've got this all on a single thread.
Qwest is now partnered/merged with 4C Labs If I remember correctly? Bubble bath morning sun etc... And the Tyson 2.0 range has some very decent reviews bar the haymaker haze, I think Qwest are pretty good to be honest mate upto yourself though if you seen something your not happy with

I've had Black Cherry Punch by Curo and Fire OG with the quality of the Black Cherry Punch decent for the price range where as the Fire OG for me was dry and tatty but others report an improvement since .
We also had a report off a member here of a spot of mould on the Curo BCP iirc.

yesterday I ended up writing a bit in the comment section of a Smokie McGreen vid on YouTube entitled
"Irradiated vs Non-Irradiated Medical Cannabis – Are UK Patients Being Ripped Off?"
so I felt to copy and paste my feelings here.
"I've been on UK MC for around a month and 60g worth of flower (not all consumed yet). Have been utilising kush for around 35 years on and off....have lived many years in Canada and Holland (before the big irradiation push) , so experienced in those cannabis fields and the wealth of different strains available. After reading and watching reviews, I avoided buying gamma treated here in UK and accepted beta treated, which was 4C Labs Donkey B and 4C Labs Huckleberry, Green K Modified Gas, AAAA gelato33. I was prepared for the radiation treatment quality effect but still shocked!
The Gelato #33 is a total let down and it's just so obvious that this is because of the irradiation as it's a very nice strain in general. The feeling is more of that general stoned feeling with no particular positive quality. The Donkey Butter is nice and strong and more enjoyable but still it's definitely noticeable that something is amiss in terms of the spectrum of activity, both physically and mentally.....with these irradiated flowers I feel it's as though a piece of musical symphony has had sections removed. From this, the natural melody is interfered with and so cannot function properly as medicinal for body and mind....it functions but not properly. Have often felt like Marijuana intake can be likened to a piece of jigsaw puzzle or a key and it should fit into the right place and then re-balances the system, a bit like an attunement by a piece of music. If the music is not right, the system is not affected as beneficially as it might be. If the strain is not right at that time for that person or if the quality of a complimentary strain is poor, dis-harmonies can arise.
Modified Gas has been to help sleep and reduce pain/ spasms to help sleep, which it has done and it works, but still it's noticeable that something is missing in spectrum of activity and I'm pretty sure it's medical effects last less time than non-irradiated strong Indicas I have tried in the past. I wake up sooner and have to re-dose to reduce the nasty physical effects of the illness I experience.
Huckleberry was a big let-down - again, it's just a general stoned feeling. I used to buy this strain a lot over the years - energising but balanced, focused but creatively dreamy, relaxed but alert and joyful and it smells and smokes a right fruity treat! This stuff from 4C Labs? A joke. Barely any smell and the whole delightful spectrum of effects has been turned into some low quality un-sophisticated general stoned feeling that a teenager with very limited cannabis experience may enjoy, but not a seasoned user.
Fortunately I've had non-irradiated KV Gazzurple, which arrived and made entrance to my smell receptors like Heavens Fruit. Nice bud, perhaps slightly too Sativa for me but the topic here is irradiation and it's not and it's very favourably comparable to the beta irradiated flowers - it further shows them up as being clearly sub-standard. The DOE Union Jack was the other non-irradiated I tried. I like it - not as good as original JH, but again, having non-irradiated to me is dramatically noticeable compared to the irradiated.
MC users without sufficient experience will not be anywhere near as sensitive to the reduced standards caused by irradiation, but I feel the issues regarding this subject are going to become exponentially more of a concern to the community of MC. The plant is of course deeply rooted in meta-physical / spiritual essence, as is it's mode of effect on the human bodymind system. The idea or argument that only up to 30% of terpenes are damaged, appears to me to be BLAG. Financial blag. Basically it's a marketing pitch to keep sales going. Not saying the basic science is false, just that it's been promoted as "You've still got AT LEAST 70% terpenes left". But Marijuana does not work like that. It's not like you can just smoke extra to intake extra terpene quantity - the symphony has been messed with - the musical conductor, the movie director, is not happy that their glorious piece of work has been messed with and now no longer will function with the full love, compassion and wisdom bodymind possibilities which it was intended for. Since this irradiation theme will surely grow as a discontent in the UK MC market, it appears that DOE and any other UK company growing here with the ability to avoid lengthy transport times and irradiation of product, can have the potential to dominate the UK market, providing they grow genuine high quality product and a fair spectrum of different strains. In the end, this MC is Medical. I do not believe that it will be acceptable to the growing market that a medicine should be allowed to be indefinitely sub-standard in it's medical activity, if there are clear and actionable ways to make it more effective - i.e. UK business grown and untreated.
I was quite shocked when I saw this post - personally I have decided never to buy DOE again.....anyway, I've never been comfortable with them failing to create a complimentary mod. of the glory of one of the best strains ever created - Jack Herer. Union JH is just NOT Jack Herer

Ah, the glory of this forum of loving kindness and compassion ! Although suddenly I am thinking since that was 4 months ago, more recent additions to the MC community should be aware of those circumstances, i.e. by noticing this fresh posting lol ...that guy deserves to have those comments of his remembered
