I thought this thread may be temporarily useful to keep track of flower and oils that Mamedica® do not have on the formulary. This will be useful to see Mamedicas stocks and inform potential new patients about restrictions on product availability. Simply post below your info on what you noticed is missing.

On the 16th of October 2024 I counted available to Patients 96 Flowers and 62 Oils. Mamedica only list the following as available:

• 52 Flowers
• 26 Oils
• 2 Vape Carts
• 3 Lozenges
• 2 Capsules

On the 16th of October 2024 i counted the following as unavailable for Patients at Mamedica:

• The Noidecs flower range
• The GLO flower range
• The Canopy Growth® flower range
• Medcan Isando T19/24 Tokoloshe Sherbet
• Khiron Hindu Kush
• Miracle Valley Canada MAC 1
• Lumir® Crumbled Lime Ten
• Aurora® Moonberry
• Glass Pharms Blackberry Sour
• Glass Pharms Frosted Lime
• Grow T18 Gelato
• Lumir® T25 Wild Thailand Oil

Nah, it's basic, I don't use it at all.

I think all it did from the user perspective was replace the prior (sailpoint?) portal.

It may have made things better for Mamedica staff behind the scenes, e.g allow them to email you when your prescription is dispatched

I was hoping for stuff like live access to stock medicine list to submit prescriptions, without having to go through a web portal, but nothing like that.

I've been waiting on a call back from the manager of this clinic, since 2023. Regarding a complaint about redundant and unusable TGOD strains that I paid top dollar for before they thereafter went through 3 consecutive price reductions due to how bad they were.

So you can switch to CB1 Medical for free or top rated Cannabis Clinic Cardiff for a fee or Alternaleaf £10/month - who I heard could be free at some point this year... or highly rate Integro

Montu have a rediculous amount of out of stock or no new requests other than montus own brands that almost never become unavailable.... called to ask but gave up after ringing off the line after an hour twice!

I've just been and counted and there are 75-80 flower products on Mamedica's list so I would say it has improved since these threads were started and personally when I was with Mamedica it was the cheaper products that were missing and the dearer more popular ones were on often on their list.

Basically it is a decent size formulary compared to others clinics formulary ,also a lot is to do with your expectations of a clinic and I have moved to a smaller clinic that has access to all the medications available in the UK but this more expensive as its £33/month and £250 one off fee to join but with a much better service and medication options and is patient focused .

Depends on your budget really - if you can afford Cardiff go for it, if not shout and we can go thru alternatives for you.

I`m with Mamedica® and they are a good clinic with a not too bad sized strain list but i am restricted to 25% and i get 1 strain at 27% even though i have had tropicanna gold at 26% it looks like a 1 off lol all the rest i have to have 25% and 10g CBD strain.

I went to order yesterday and was told i could not order a certain CBD strain cos it says i have to get non irradiated and this was not told to me as i ordered 2 non irradiated strains before so i am waiting on word getting back to me and i hope its a mistake but i would not have joined the clinic if that restriction was told to me at 1st appointment so make sure things are clear and restrictions if any are told to you.

I see the point of THC restriction to get me stable as i have epilepsy but i have only heard people with immune disorders getting restricted with irradiated product only and didn`t think epilepsy would have that restriction and didn`t before so been a stressfull night thinking should i leave clinic or medical cannabis altogether.

4C Labs was the 1 of the only options for me cos of THC percentage and price and only 2 CBD strains available on list at moment and both i couldn`t order bcos they were non irradiated lol talk about restrictions pmsl.

So just make sure you dont end up like me cos this is a nightmare at moment.

Wow ,talking about moving goalposts and so sorry to hear what your going through with them pal and I understand them being more hands on with certain conditions but I do know of someone with the same condition that had been prescribed 4C Labs etc which are all Irradiated and many more but obviously we're not all the same but a worrying development for you .

Wondering if it's a policy they are going forward with or just part of your individual care but it's a new one on me to go this route for someone without immune disorders.

Also if you were to change clinic I reckon it'd be worth finding out their exact policy beforehand to do with this to avoid any disappointment in future and will be advising others the same .

This is some bullshit mate. I'd change and get what you need.

The thought of applying again throws me off and i don`t know if they are going to be the same with epilepsy. I moved away from black market because i found it weak and having to use more apart form stardawg which knocked me out and was a strong bit of weed but hit n miss as you all know and not the cleanest.

The clinic has been great with support and even my specialist has been very good so i am hoping that this is a mistake but i have only ordered 2 non irradiated out of about 20 strains so no desire for just non irradiated and 80% is beta irradiated 4C Labs stuff that i order. No red flags with 1st order with gelato dream and march order with mac daddy non irradiated and went through but this one didn`t so looks like been put there recently or a mistake.

Anyway i just wanted to say be clear with specialist but i am just waiting and hoping this is resolved asap as i can work with THC restrictions and hope they raise over time so i can get a deep sleep.

Prob a mixture of both with care plan and restrictions for certain patients so another clinic might be the same with me as you say.

I'm thinking I got it the wrong way round and I'm sure he was on Irradiated stuff and I mistakenly took it as they said you have to have non irradiated ,apologies it's early
but hopefully you do get clarity because as you say you can work within the limits for now with the hope as they get more familiar with you the THC limit rises.
