Were waiting the same as you to get feedback from new patients and hopefully not longAnyone with this new clinic? Hows the experience?
I've yet to see anyone with Medicann in general nevermind the new scottish branchWere waiting the same as you to get feedback from new patients and hopefully not long![]()
Wait - don't the pharmacies have to receive a physical, wet-signature, prescription before they're allowed to dispense?Submitted first prescription today for approval- approved in 5 minutes after 3pm and medication was dispatched at 5pm!
Yes, though as we understand IPS previously had an arrangement with Integro to use a same-day courier to transfer scripts to the site for processing - perhaps the same is happening here. It's really hard to know exactly how under 5 minutes processing is possible, as you allude to it's not possible to dispense just based on electronic records of a prescription.Wait - don't the pharmacies have to receive a physical, wet-signature, prescription before they're allowed to dispense?
That's a sound theory - I've pondered in the past why vertically integrated clinics haven't taken more advantage of said shared-care agreements to do exactly that. The most likely scenario is that despite Medicann being registered in Scotland, they have some clinicians (GPs/pharmacists/specialist nurses) working under shared care with prescribing specialists - whereby they can sign prescriptions on a specialist's behalf.

Well that's kinda my concern. I'm not sure exactly how a company which doesn't charge any money and cannot (legally) compel me to use their own pharmacy can pay staff costs.
ETA: Don't get me wrong - if it's a viable business model and I see decent feedback then I'll think about moving. I just can't quite square the staff payment circle unless they're literally volunteering their time and hoping that their patients opt to pay a £4.99 delivery fee rather than using a pharmacy which doesn't charge...
Taking note... I won't be trying the external pharmacy route with them it appearsJust to note, we followed up by emailing Medicann directly earlier today too - after another patient forwarded correspondence from the clinic evidencing the above.
It seems there is a situation that needs resolving asap for sure !Taking note... I won't be trying the external pharmacy route with them it appears![]()
I'm not sure anywhere is safe other than Cannabis Clinic CardiffIf I move to Medicann from CB1 Medical then decide in a few weeks/months that I want to return to cb1 can I do so or is there cooling off periods/restrictions?

For me it's a very much measure twice cut once thing as it can be a stressful time transferring and not something I personally would look to do if avoidable but obviously sometimes it's absolutely necessity for one reason or another .I'm not sure anywhere is safe other than Cannabis Clinic Cardiff![]()
Honestly this doesn't surprise me.
