Excellent customer service, lovely staff, patient focused. Submitted documents Tuesday, missed a call from them on Wednesday, had assessment call on Thursday, Appointment with the lovely Dr Sunny on Friday and a few hours later I was able to order my prescription.
New to using app so I had a few queries which were all answered in 5 mins.
Free to choose my own prescriptions, lots of popular flower choices.
Submitted first prescription today for approval- approved in 5 minutes after 3pm and medication was dispatched at 5pm!
Just need to wait patiently for it to arrive.

I’m guessing via commission from pharmacy sales or small stake in the business, my Dr also works at Integro. Lots of AI involved too. The prices are the same as listed on here btw, just £4.99 for delivery.

Well that's kinda my concern. I'm not sure exactly how a company which doesn't charge any money and cannot (legally) compel me to use their own pharmacy can pay staff costs.

ETA: Don't get me wrong - if it's a viable business model and I see decent feedback then I'll think about moving. I just can't quite square the staff payment circle unless they're literally volunteering their time and hoping that their patients opt to pay a £4.99 delivery fee rather than using a pharmacy which doesn't charge...

Wait - don't the pharmacies have to receive a physical, wet-signature, prescription before they're allowed to dispense?
Yes, though as we understand IPS previously had an arrangement with Integro to use a same-day courier to transfer scripts to the site for processing - perhaps the same is happening here. It's really hard to know exactly how under 5 minutes processing is possible, as you allude to it's not possible to dispense just based on electronic records of a prescription.

The most likely scenario is that despite Medicann being registered in Scotland, they have some clinicians (GPs/pharmacists/specialist nurses) working under shared care with prescribing specialists - whereby they can sign prescriptions on a specialist's behalf.

This would mean if they're physically close enough to IPS in Surrey, or perhaps even on-site there, they could action scripts almost immediately.

I'm theorising here, we have no evidence one way nor another yet.

That's a sound theory - I've pondered in the past why vertically integrated clinics haven't taken more advantage of said shared-care agreements to do exactly that.

If I move to Medicann from CB1 Medical then decide in a few weeks/months that I want to return to cb1 can I do so or is there cooling off periods/restrictions?
I'm not sure anywhere is safe other than Cannabis Clinic Cardiff
For me it's a very much measure twice cut once thing as it can be a stressful time transferring and not something I personally would look to do if avoidable but obviously sometimes it's absolutely necessity for one reason or another .
I don't think there would be any problem from CB1 for a returning patient but its not something I know definitively of.

I imagine there is an admin overhead to onboarding someone to a clinic that costs them quite a bit - it may be that solely money-driven clinics would get a bit arsey about it if they thought someone was flip-flopping back and forth in short space of time

Personally I don't want to go through a clinic change again unless I really have to, but I'm happy that I don't feel the need as am super happy with my clinic

Honestly this doesn't surprise me.

Whilst I've found their Comms and general service to be decent, they are very uptight about the formulary and refuse to provide anything that isn't on their app (which includes several IPS products).

Apparently they do this so patients aren't waiting for products that aren't in stock but I've had IPS confirm on site stock of several products (including Aurora® Carts) but Medicann tell me they're not in stock.

Theres definitely something weird here, it feels very restrictive in terms of pharmacy/formulary.
