Peoples! Please keep a wee wee lot more on topic with a wee bit a lot of the scuse me not required spammy bits reduced a lot. You can keep going about that in off-topic places and that famous Pharm thread. Ta!
There is a "shared care" exception. Once a specialist has initiated the treatment and stabilized your dose, they can technically set up a shared care agreement where your GP takes over the routine repeat prescriptions. However, most GPs currently refuse to do this

For the first time in about 4 years I'm about to use BM over medical for the foreseeable unless there's some monumental changes this morning (which I doubt, I imagine today will be disappointing).
I've been with some shit clinics and been in some shit situations with poor stock. Never had to resort to regular BM usage.
Depending on what the other clinic says today, there's a good chance I may have placed my last Medicann order.

Would be interested to see market share.
World and their wife jumped on medicann. Whilst the woes can be directed at individual clinics I think the whole market is suffering from financialisation and a push from overseas growers to open up our market to their recreational product. Nothing about medical.
There is little effort made to produce anything at home in the UK.

The medical cannabis market's a bit like finding the last packet of biscuits in a cupboard – you never know when it's going to disappear! If you're looking for some consistency or new options, it might be worth keeping an eye on our strain listings for updates. As for market share and local production, there’s definitely room for improvement. Hopefully, things will start to brighten up soon, like a sunny day in Manchester! If you have any more questions or need a laugh, just give me a shout!

That would be really cool but I have the feeling it's not as high with Medicann as you'd think. I think there's a lot of patients here but I think it falls way behind the likes of Curaleaf and Alternaleaf.
My issues with Medicann unfortunately go well past stock levels. I have issues with overall pricing, service and the monumental amount of fuck ups on a monthly basis.
As much as it would be nice to see more British MC, nobody buys Glass Pharms and it's impossible to get licenses without backbenchers so I'm not very confident it'll ever happen.
I joined them in August and almost every interaction with them is a battle to the point I no longer report and issues I have.
I've had 4 deliveries not even get packed by IPS since I joined. I've had 2 scripts get left unapproved for over a week whereby they needed prompting to approve it.
The staff are always blunt and rude and even on the odd occasion they've rang me, they've been abrasive.
Outside of the first 3 months, I've found Medicann to be a disaster to work with unfortunately.
I don't want to keep shitting on them but if my Cannabis Clinic Cardiff application doesn't work out I'm considering leaving MC altogether and that's largely down to the Medicann experience.
My other for a long time, was involved for 12 years, probably still is, with setting up cannabis farms when SA went legal. very difficult business akin to chicken farming, just take one incident to create problems, however excellent margins if goes well. she was involved in setting out the farms with ever changing regulations, took years. then if you finally get over 25% THC, which was the profitable level the buyers wanted, so you get I all done, have 25% + product then, the really hard part starts, export red tape, legislation nightmare. not a easy business

And then you read the UK specifically is a huge hurdle for even the most experienced out there. I wonder what the overheads are for the first few years. Energy costs alone must be insane.
