I’m hoping it is some sort of bizarre mistake and I will wake up to an email apologising and clarifying things because denying access to medication without warning because of reporting mould is just lunacy. When I had an issue with them, I pulled all their Director details from Companies House and asked them to confirm if the details were correct. The implication that I was going to involve a Director seemed to be enough for them to pull their finger out and offer a resolution.
Failing that, have you tried booking an appointment with Dr Sunny? I'm pretty sure his medical oath would mean that he'll get involved and demand that access to your medication is restored, even on a limited basis.

I was disgusted the other day when the ceo put that they base pricing on the bm pricing I just don’t think that should be the way when it’s medical and we need it yet lots of us struggle or can’t afford the meds at 10g high street pricing but they shouldn’t withhold meds yet also did you see the list drs put up was only about 10-15 for all the clinics so they obviously working for lots each too but no don’t think we should be paying street price for half decent stuff hope they sort it today I’d be really upset and anxious well already am but because everything’s building up and I just can’t deal with everything need to at the moment I’m too broken and life’s just too hard so just hide away as can’t deal with life currently it’s too hard on my own
I am 100% sure this is against regulation, and this being a strictly regulated space, there should be consequences and they should be AFRAID, not PUNISH.

Thank you mate I really appreciate you putting all that together for me! I have emailed this morning to ask management what I should do if I am running low on medication, explaining the obvious that I am a patient that relies on them for medication and they must have some sort of duty of care, and that I am considering contacting regulatory bodies and seeking legal advice as they have out me between a rock and a hard place. Hopefully that gets things moving. I'm completely with you. Private or not a clinic cannot just arbitrarily cut a patient off from medication like this they have duty of care and it would surely be malpractice, negligence or something along those lines.
Really sorry to read all this @williemed not what we expect to be seeing patients treated like You can book appointments on the app, I believe this would be a call, it's only with clinic admin but that's a start, I'd be requesting an appointment as a matter of urgency with Dr Sunny, the Dr signs us up to Medicann and signs off our scripts so he needs to be involved too. Not resolving the mouldy weed situation after this amount of time is unacceptable but blocking access to Meds is a different level of Wrong. I'd also request a copy of the clinics terms and conditions/patient use agreement info. Hope Medicann fix you up and make up for the nonsense they're putting you through

Good move! I can only book appointments with clinicians but maybe worth a try to get to speak to someone over the phone. I have suggested that I am starting to muse regulatory bodies and legal advice in my latest email, so hopefully that does the trick but they seems quite resolute on the issue so far

A lot of those restocks are people dropping singular orders rather than full restocks.
So there could only be 1 or 2 available. From what I understand Dave's list can email a few minutes after an update (I assume the various bots are instant on discord and things).
I think what's happening is people are dropping an item, discord notifies earlier and somebody picks up that lone item quicker.
It is what it is, if there's 1 item and a few thousand patients then youve gotta accept those 0.01% odds.
That said, I have read you're now capped at 1 or 2 discounted products per order (massively disagree with this) so that should increase the odds a little bit and slow down the buy up.
Ultimately, with the development of these new tools on discord, etc. that are providing instant updates. The only way to beat it is to join it and play the game.
This is just my recent experience but imo you need access to a bot that provides real time notifications that you can see and act upon at any given moment. If there's more than 5 minutes between the notification and you ordering, the chances are it's gone.
Also fwiw putting things in your basket doesn't reserve anything, so you need to have submitted a full request before your medication is reserved.
It irks me that this is the way it is now, but the cat is out the bag and it's not going back in.
Makes me a little ashamed to be a Medicann patient when you hear about some of their practices lately.
The only 'logical' thing my brain can come up with is that where you've had multiple reports they somehow think you're doing it on purpose. So they'll block you from ordering until they've had a complete investigation to either confirm/deny whether you're pushing it.
The problem with that though is that this is medication and the duty of care is massively missing.
That said Medicann and duty of care aren't things I've ever put together.
Their Comms surrounding this has been appalling. They really should have rang you to explain the situation.
Have you heard from anyone yet? - I'll be honest mate, I don't think they give a shit about fixing this for you. If Sunny hasn't come sprinting to the rescue by now then I don't see them magically opening things up.

Yeah I had been really happy with everything and is my first clinic but something has changed massively since they had those couple days down…,the stock levels and everything haven’t been good or sales we are seeing each hour look like lot less… yet getting more customers each day when I joined mid October once codie made his page it was always showing a decent amount of sales even in the dead of night yet now what’s going on is nobody buying or we not seeing and there’s only 118 there was 136 different flower yesterday so there hiding results or just selling the tiny amount seeing and yeah I really didn’t want to have the stress changing clinic and is one of the first just that there in main land now but I don’t understand what there playing at stopping people getting meds coz there’s mould yet mould could kill some of us as be very had to know the right antibiotic needed…
And iv had brown stuff or stuff far smaller than expected with smalls and seeds and says on med bud you shouldn’t ever get a seed or a stalk over a certain size yet do and maybe they will sort it out and I can’t put my finger on it exactly but something feels very different like maybe there under investigation or something…. They've deliberately masked stock levels and expiry dates since the update because too many people were basing decisions off those factors. So it was contributing towards you and many others missing out.
The same thing happens at all clinics, Alternaleaf over the summer has a very similar issue with people join because it's a good deal and people rave about it. Then the system cracks under the weight and breaks for a few months.
When I joined I had both appts within 2 hours of eachother, now the initial appt has a 2 week lead time. So they're clearly dealing with a lot of new patients.
I'm seeing 129 but a good portion of those will have less than 5 in stock so that's probably why you're seeing it fluctuate as people make and cancel requests.
to be honest I don't blame the pharmacy for the quality of meds because ultimately it's all pre-packaged and they no visibility of it. But this is part of the cheaper end of the market as well unfortunately. You're either getting bottom of the barrell or harsh, expired mids.
I think a lot of your gripes are things many new patients experience on MC rather than it being Medicann specific.
The lack of reaction to mould has been a little crazy but again, every clinic drags their heels with this stuff. None of them are giving you a refund and being super friendly about it. Now the lock off with the formulary is a massive issue. Ultimately I'm going to wait and see how they handle the existing issues before I make my mind up.
Medicann have always been the clinic of 0 support. I think we all wondered what would happen if we had major support issues, now we know.
Was the tracking # for you then? Just an old one? That's going to be Script Assist mail servers being shit. I struggle to blame Medicann here because I know what Script Assist is like.
Now, like with all this we can say they should make better choices as a business to not use brands with mould reports and to not use terrible experiences like script assist. That's totally fair and valid. But then again it's a free service so if feel we can't complain too much. Bur then again it's a medical serviced so maybe we can.
It was a dumb comment by him on the pricing but I think I understand what he's saying. On the street a shit Z of Stardawg costs me £140 off the local Albanians.
A budget 30g costs around £150 give or take.
A high end Z costs me £300 on BM, the top end of medical works out at about £300 for 30g.

The discounts and limited stocking issues are quite easily explained. Think of it like a newsagent and a cash and carry.
Your newsagent goes to the cash and carry buys his usual stock and sells at his usual prices. He goes once per month.
Another newsagent goes to the cash and carry weekly and buys less. In doing so they can take advantage of any new deals on short dated stock from the cash and carry.
Because they get it cheaper they can sell it for cheaper without taking a knock so the customer benefits in savings (some newsagents might not do this and pocket the profits).
As you can imagine there's probably a few newsagents in the cash and carry and they all want the cheap discounts to sell to us. This means there's less opportunities to buy it up like it would be if it wasn't discounted.
The catch is because this is medicine, pharmacies are legally not allowed to stock much more than they sell. So they cannot order 1000s of something if they only usually sell 100s.
IPS are the kings of constant revolving stock, but this is why you see so much fluctuation.
Unfortunately, because of the way cannabis product works I don't think you're ever going to get assurances from any clinic for any products. Maybe your in-brand flowers can be more consistent and controlled but by and large the cultivator decides when they're binning off a strain and there's not much anyone can do about it. It's exactly the same on the rec markets as well albeit a bit more consistent given the nature of it.
Trying to get your clinic to control it would be like getting your local newsagent to control the stock of hula hoops coming into the cash and carry. All they can do is buy what's already in wholesale and make requests.
I feel for you mate, I lost my Dad a while back. It's not an easy one to navigate. My Mrs had never been to a funeral until we met, she's on 7 in 5 years to give you an idea of the amount of loss I am around on a regular basis. Point being I resonate with how you feel. It sucks but there's not really any good advice. You just have to carry on and eventually you learn a new a way to live.
I know you've spoken a little about being cut off from people and feeling pretty rubbish. Do you talk with any family or people that knew your dad?
Grieving is heartbreaking but sharing can really be a fantastic shield. Funny stories, embarrassing ailments and overally lovely memories can be truly healing to share.
I would love to hear more about your dad whenever you feel like you can share and to whatever extent that looks like.

This might be a little personal, so feel free not to answer but what is your flower budget looking like? Do you have a monthly budget than you try to achieve x grams with? (E.G. do you try to spend £150 max or 30g). I'm trying to get a good idea of what I can recommend. I may also be able to reserve meds you want when you're not around to then drop later for you when you are around.
Fwiw I have noticed discounts typically come in between 9am-1pm on Monday and Tuesday and then some 3pm-6pm additions occasionally later in the week.
If you can, try and stick by your phone and the stock bot notifications during those periods.

Have you tried using an incognito tab to view? or a hard refresh? A hard refresh clears your browser cache for a specific page, forcing it to load the latest version of a website. For Windows/Linux, use Ctrl+F5 or Ctrl+Shift+R. For Mac, use Cmd+Shift+R. Alternatively, hold Shift and click the Reload button.
I just checked again and the site is loading ok. If you try the above and it's still not working let me know, but it should sort out the problem.
