Intros New patient looking for tips on ADHD symptom easing strains available through UK prescription!

I hear you fella, when we have a bad experience it can completely cloud our perspective on an organisation, lord knows there are so many burnt out remains of bridges that I have left behind me with companies big and small that have given me reason to obliterate those bridges, and yet others will see things very differently. The magic of everyone being different I suppose. They do seem expensive when compared to others and no doubt I will be moving on at some point in the near future as it becomes more restrictive cost wise to maintain my prescription and sample other strains to find my best suited.
I defo hear you too mate, I've been there and its yourself and others that suffer at their our expense lol. I've been with my clinic for coming on 9mths and I'm very pleased with my clinics experience and patient care, there's probably people who have had a bad experience with my clinic. It all comes down to budget and selections and patient care, that's all I need, oh and prices to come down on flower too within budgets, its difficult enough getting by from day to day with everything 👍

So from what I can tell with the googling I've done Releaf do have 4C Labs products so I'm going to stick with what I'd recommend from them.

Strawberry Cake - I only got this delivered today but so far I'm enjoying it, it's a classic white widow variant and it really pops through. It's a favourite of some the regulars here as well.

Cold Creek Kush - Truth be told I've not tried this yet, it arrived today also. It doesn't look like much but it smells punchy and I've been told it can slap you round the face, so I can't provide first hand evidence but like I say I've picked it up recently based off of recommendations here.

Sudz - I bought this when it was £9pg and thought it was great value then. now it's like £55 (YMMV). Beautifully soapy strain that hits closer to a 23% strain. it hasn't put me to sleep but it gets you ready to wind down for the evening.

Jokerz - I had this recommended to be last month and I think its the best value flower on the market right now. Similar to Sudz in terms of it being a relaxing flower. This is probably the most recommended flower I've seen this year outside of a sourdough or a pave.

Moby Dick - Top tier Sativa. Absolutely fantastic as a day time option, gets you moving and enjoying your day. If you like Sativa's then this is a must have.

GMO Tropical Reign - A little cheesy for me on the taste but thats just personal preference. as a flower it's really nice and the GMO definitely pops out.

Alaskan Thunder - This is my 2nd favourite strain on medical full stop. It's menthol piny goodness are top tier. I use this throughout the day and it can both put me to sleep and get me at the races. I couldn't recommend this enough.

There's definitely a lot more of the 4C Labs range that I would recommend but these are the ones I've had experiences with so far that are still in stock and hopefully some of them will be gettable for you.

There has been another thread about Glass Pharms before with a couple of recs -

https://forums.medbud.wiki/threads/glass-pharms-flower.4462/

If you checkout the Glass Pharms flower page, you then click on individual strains and from there you'll also be able to see if there's any video reviews. (E.G. Lemon Diesel has 4 YouTube video reviews)

Hey Jolly, and a very warm welcome to the community.. I can say with 100% confidence that you're in the right place for all your questions and there are some really knowledgeable people here happy to help at any time.. You will spend a fair while trying to find 'your strains' - patience is definitely a virtue which is a difficult thig to comprehend when money and expensive prescriptions are involved lol !
Wedding cake I found as a decent night time so far - with regards to CPTSD like me I'm hunting balanced strains like Mango Cheese as I'm finding balance are good for anxiety through the day..
Best of luck on your MC journey x

Cheers brother, appreciate the welcome! I had heard a few things about them that weren't good. But so far I'm not able to criticise the service. I have had great contact with customer support and they have been very fast to help with any problems I have had. I am a bit puzzled by the pricing they have when other Glass Pharm products are listed cheaper elsewhere. I see that they have a smaller selection than some dispensaries, but at this point I am Ok with the choice whilst I am getting settled into prescribed Cannabis as opposed to BM where I have not been able to secure a steady supply of a recognisable strain that does what I need it to. I'm still getting my head around getting good green through the post by courier at the mo if I'm honest.. I will probably be moving clinic once I have settled into how things work, but I have also seen plenty of people ripping other clinics for their lack of customer contact and how long people take to get an answer from support etc. Seems there is no one clinic that can tick all boxes if you go by reviews and I was already underway with Releaf needing to get a prescription sorted so as not to lose my clean record for DBS checks. Happy to hear what you see as issues with Releaf so that I can compare my own experience or be prepared for things that may become an issue further down the line.
Hey I was really unsure about joining for a long time as didn’t want to get treated differently for wanting to use MC and then found out they no longer have to add it to your medical records it’s our choice as the way some people have been treated by drs that don’t agree with it
I uploaded my info on Tuesday and got my first delivery the following Tuesday and so far can not fault them there’s between 1-150 different flowers and no fees with Medicann and so only £4.99 postage for next day…. Yet unsure if that will include tomorrow as got few jars of the atomic sour grapefruit last night the pink kush as everyone had been waiting on it and the supreme diesel as that’s reduced too and I’d rather pay extra fist age and get some bits for less than half price and the more clinics the more competition and price wars but pretty sure they will all go on sale at some point and that way I’m probably getting better and cheaper than the bm but no I wasn’t sure so thought I’d try the only free clinic and they respond straight away it’s really easy to order and arrives next day I’m not sure if il get my delivery tomorrow tho as Saturday and cut off to pay mom-fri by 2.30pm to get it next day so not sure if il have to wait for Tuesday but hopefully not but think iv ordered 10 different ones this month amd spent around £470 and 6 of the 10 were reduced and Medicann you can choose anything you want as know some clinics choose for people and they don’t have any limits within reason but as say iv only been a member few weeks and ordered 100g but hopefully can save some so can keep swapping them up so they keep working for me…. And just be careful going for the more Sativa strains as some can make ADHD worse usually why in combo with the CBD they seem to work better for some people….
But welcome to our little family you will find everyone really helpful 💚

My apologies for being the contrarian, I just don't believe in Sativa and Indica, neither did most of the doctors I talked to.

Check TERPENES and strains wherever you can.

In my case, out of the most common ones, Limonene works very well for the day, Kush-type strains seem good. They make me focused and effective AND feel good.

Myrcene works mixed with Limonene (as I found out from Rainbow Pavé), but I found without Limonene, or having too much of it, Myrcene just makes me sleepy and slow and useless. Which is amazing after 9pm, but not for getting ADHD under control, to be able to focus.

Most stuff I have consumed so far was either labelled as Hybrid or Sativa Hybrid, and I had extremely varying results from "useless" to "not for me" to "this is quite alright!" to "HOLY CRAP!!!". Despite not being Indicas, some of them made me tired or just felt like evening smokes in general.

Too bad we don't always have the terp charts.

The terpenes charts are key for the patient to make the right decisions. Why isn't there always a Terp chart for some flowers that become available @GrownHealth

Simply companies won't add the extra cost in as they haven't been forced too but thankfully we are seeing more and more giving the terpene profile as patients demand it and with the size of batches nowadays and the profits made from such a large batch there is no reason to not include this imo .Maybe when batches were a lot smaller it would be harder to cost this in but some batches now are often 25 Kg+

Thanks mate that explains it, i always wondered why there wasn't a terp profile for some flower but always passed me to ask, really, it is important for these profiles to be available to the patient and I'm glad that grow companies are realising this and adding it to the flower profile.

Pineapple God is 54kg

If a terpene profile is not provided it becomes impossible to make informed choices for both patients and clinicians. Maybe as patients become more informed market forces will take an effect as people choose strains with supporting information over something with a fancy name and mystery terpenes

If I don't see the immediate cultivar lineage, and the terpene wheel, there has to be some really big other overriding factor for me to buy it

Most often if one or both is missing, I don't order it
I have heard of someone requesting COA's for the products they ordered from Mamedica® and they received them (y)
Just trying to think if they got terpene make up as well:unsure:

That's cool if it works and people want to do it, though I'm of the opinion that we are price-gouged to buggery on UK MC so I'm not going to chase them about

They can either be up front about what they are selling, or they can keep it
