I have a 90g limit at the minute

You could grab say 3 strains then (30g) based on good recs from pain patients and see how you go would be my advice

Sure thing. I started with the Curaleaf Jack Herer 420mg and the Curaleaf 200/200 THC/CBD carts. The Jack 420mg was decent, but then Curaleaf stopped doing 510-thread carts after I'd purchased a few batteries.Thank you, very much. I also am looking for relief from chronic pain. I would be really interested in as much detail you can give me with your different vapes you use , how to use etc any advice really is much appreciated

Hi, thank you very much for the detailed and fantastic overview of your meds etc.Sure thing. I started with the Curaleaf Jack Herer 420mg and the Curaleaf 200/200 THC/CBD carts. The Jack 420mg was decent, but then Curaleaf stopped doing 510-thread carts after I'd purchased a few batteries.
I moved to Medicann and have the Aurora® Electric Honeydew, which is decent for pain relief during the day and makes me really focused and lifts my mood. I've also got the 4C Labs 15 Loco (tastes like Cherry Drops to me), which is good for going to gigs/shows because it doesn't make me hyper-focused but still takes the edge off the pain. The Aurora® Sourdough was a game-changer for me. It's perfect for evenings in and for getting a great night's sleep.
I use this battery because I like the haptic feedback every three seconds to help me control my dosages. It also has three power settings and a preheat function. The clinic is bloody awful, but I can still access the shop, so I've picked a couple up to keep me going:

The cartridges screw on to the 510 battery. Mine has a pre-heat function and then I vape at 2.2V to 2.4VI have just checked the sourdough you recommended. I'm really interested in the sourdough you recommended as pain in the evening is the most challenging for me so I thought I'd start there. As it's my first time could I check I'm ordering the correct item.
Also, I'm used to vaping normal vape juice, setting the temperature on my vape mod etc but how does it work with medical cannabis/pens ?
Do you just screw in the cartridge?
How long does a cartridge last ? I mean I'm filling up my vape 5 times a day.
What temp would you recommend if the pens have a temp setting?
Do you just order 1 at a time

This is the correct one and in theory with your clinic you could order one and then order again if it suits you (say a week or so later)and you would just incur an extra postal charge or if approved already you may be able to order multiples.I have just checked the sourdough you recommended. Thank you , appreciate your advice and experience share, Didn't realise it would last such a long time. This is the correct one and in theory with your clinic you could order one and then order again if it suits you (say a week or so later)and you would just incur an extra postal charge or if approved already you may be able to order multiples.
You do just screw in the cartridge and my wife's cart of this lasted 6 weeks but using flower during most of the day but with my limited experience of these I'd say they last well and much better than I first expected them too and seem decent value.
I find these type of vape effective on low temps but I suppose each person has their own preference but personally I like to sip them on lower temps .
Welcome to the community @Max RiffHi, I’ve been signed off to use MC today and hoping to get some advice.
I have a chronic pain/nerve condition and not sure what to try first.
If anyone could recommend a flower, what quantity to order and a vaporiser I would be very grateful.
My Dr has recommended the Mightyplus vaporiser but not the herb, or quantity. I have some oil on the way to get me started.
Thank you for any help
I appreciate the welcome, everyone has been shamazing. First forum I've ever been on and I'm blown away by the community spirit.Welcome to the community @Max Riff
Seems like you're getting all the right advice so I won't chime in there but nonetheless I wanted to welcome you to MedBud.
I've tried a few commuities, this is the only one that doesn't get toxic and where the people are geniunely trying to help. There's no point scoring over here.I appreciate the welcome, everyone has been shamazing. First forum I've ever been on and I'm blown away by the community spirit.
May I ask of your experience using MC .
How you medicated, any recommendations etc.
I'm challenged with Chronic Pain ( spinal) , have been for the last 10 years , I'm hoping the MC will calm my nervous system down

Really can't thank you enough for taking the time to write such a valued overview of your experience and recommendations across the whole spectrum of hardware and MC .I've tried a few commuities, this is the only one that doesn't get toxic and where the people are geniunely trying to help. You can ask anything you like mate, I'm an open book on my treatment.
Thank you for sharing why you're prescribed, I'm prescribed for C-PTSD and I'm a pretty heavy MC user, it fluctuates throughout the year and with what device I'm using.
I tend to use hourly from morning to night. Either through a Thermal Twist, Ruby Twist or Tiny Might 2. I do use carts but more so for when I'm out as they're a bit more convenient. I stick to exclusively rosin carts, resin is fine but rosin is just better. I do have 1 distilliate cart that I use only for going into the office at work (very rarely) because its incredibly discreet.
I would recommend getting a Thermal Twist, Ruby Twist or another type of desktop injector ball vape. Given you're a pain patient I think you're going to find this the most effective way to medicate properly. Portables are fine, but they're nowhere near as punchy. They're more than usable but there's a noticable difference.
I would assume heavy Indicas are probably going to be your thing. To which there's a good selection of Hybrid leaning and pure Indicas out there. Everyones different so its hard to recommend strains sometimes but I'd encourage you to look at Kush's as a decent starting point. There's a good mix of high and low strength variants as well.
If I had a gun to my head I would recommend:
Portable DHV (no budget): Limelight Frolic or Tiny Might 2
Portable DHV (budget friendly): XLux Roffu, Arizer Solo II Max or Dynavap M7 XL (Honoury mention to the Arizer Air Max)
Desktop DHV (no budget): Universal Baller or Vapvana Natural
Desktop DHV (Budget friendly): Thermal Twist, Ruby Twist or Vapvapa All Star (wired)
510 Thread (no budget): CCELL Fino or DaVinci Artiq
510 thread (budget friendly): Youcann Uni Pro, Youcann Ziva Pro (Any of the cheaper pens are also fine to be honest)
Strains (no budget): Sundaze® - Modified Grapes, Big Narstie - Mule Fuel, Sundaze® - Apples and Bananas, Upstate - Scout Cake, Peace Naturals® - Space Cake, Peace Naturals® GMO Cookies, Herdade Das Barrocas - Tigerz Eye, Green Karat - Modified Gas, Aurora® - Pink Diesel, Aurora® - Farm Gas, Aurora® Cosmic Cream, Aurora® - Sourdough, Phant - D1, Vasco Cipher - Blue Lobster.
Strains (budget friendly <£7pg): Curaleaf - Lavender Cake, 4C Labs - Strawberry Cake Smalls, SafriCanna - Mango Gas, 4C Labs - Cold Creek Kush smalls, Curaleaf Wedding Pop Triangle, Green Joy - Banana Gas. Curo - Black Cherry Punch.
I think that's by and large what I'd suggest from the top of my head. I've not tried every strain listed here but I have heard good things about most of them. I've tried to keep it solely to CB1 Medical.
I needed the distraction so it was a pleasure.Really can't thank you enough for taking the time to write such a valued overview of your experience and recommendations across the whole spectrum of hardware and MC .
Normally I'm a jump straight in kind of a person but with so much to take on board the experience shares really are helping me to make some informed decisions before unnecessarily spending on the wrong products.
Thank you soooo much

Absolutely, that would be a fantastic idea. If I knew what MC specifically helped with nerve pain it would make it a lot easier. My recommendation for a portable dry herb vaporiser would be the Storz & Bickel Venty. It heats up quickly and its battery will last me a full day usually. For something to use at home, for me the gold standard is the Storz & Bickel Volcano. For me, the flavour, aroma, and just the smoothness that you get from a balloon make it worth every penny. They’re also designed and made in Germany, and this shows in the quality.
I’d be very interested to hear how you get on with a liquid vape, and what strains help your pain. I’ve had nerve pain for 34 years now, and would love to lock down a really helpful strain. I’m brand new to this Medical side of cannabis, received my first prescription yesterday. Up to now I’ve been buying on the Dark Web and not having any faith in what I ordered was what was delivered. My pharmacy doesn’t give much information about the strains they sell, so I might have to swap. Ideally I want to know what approx percentage of Sativa and Indica is in a product, and ideally what terpenes are in it too.
I was thinking a good idea might be if MedBud.Wiki could run a poll at the end of every year, of what medication helped with various health issues. Then we could see what other people are finding helpful?
That will work for the carts I recommended.Hi, thank you very much for the detailed and fantastic overview of your meds etc.
I'm with CB1 Medical. I've been recommended the Paso premium vape pen with a 510 thread .
Would this be a good pen to accommodate the carts you have recommended or have you any other recommendations please.

I was recommended oil for CRPS, but I was worried about how I'd control the dosage and what the immediate effects would be if I used it before work.Oil gave me instant relief for spinal issues in ways a decade of pharmaceuticals never had done.
I started with GP 25t/5c. I took it before bed and woke in the morning refreshed and bones and joints popped like they hadn’t in years.
I was blown away by the effects of it. V different to flower IMHO.
