That, I imagine would of looked even worse over the last few months, where costs to get suitable / effective products has made the cost of a prescription rise to ridiculous heights, for some people dearer than their mortgage/ rent , absolutely crackers when you look at it like that in the cold light of day. My rose tinted glasses about
MC are starting to clear recently with escalating costs and reliable products not staying in stock long, leading to experimenting with new unreviewed products. Buying a new product from what you see as a good brand for say £85 ,then you find it's got the opposite effect or not suitable for various other reasons. The knock on effect is it you can't use it all at any time of day you've got a giant hole in your month to try an balance the rest of your products into, but you've still paid a pretty price and the only one who suffers in this is us.
The honeymoon period for some making excess profits using margins of profit that may have been acceptable at the inception of the UK markets ,probably a necessity to get to where we are today, needs to end .
That said recent adjustments from some suppliers have been a welcome step in the right direction but the next trick will be for products that should be £6 (relative to today's market) punted in at £8.50 from launch whilst the markets full of decent £8.50/g products ,
Also launching products at high prices then reducing them does not show company's in good light , more like a bully seeing how much they can get off a vulnerable person ,just market your products fairly, relative to costs and fair profit.
More reductions needed for more people to come
MC.
