Team or solo sports, football, tennis, golf, boxing, F1, darts - whatever it may be, what is your thing?
I don't watch much sport these days because I refuse to pay the extortionate prices.
I played a bit of american football in the 90s but quickly shifted to martial arts - mainly wing chun and jeet kune do (all before MMA was a thing)
I've never liked watching football or cricket. I stopped watching F1 because only some of the races are shown on terrestrial tv. UFC I stopped because of BT's £27 a month charge. Boxing just seems so corrupt and the match ups are poor but occasionally I will get a PPV if it's a good fight
I watch a bit of Buhurt on YouTube (medieval UFC)
Yes, I caught the bug in 1986 when the fridge won the superbowl with the chicago bears. I don't watch many regular games but I always stay up for the superbowl. I played defensive linebacker for a short while but hate muddy frozen fields in DecemberI have to admit you're not wrong there at all mate. I don't pay those prices, I've been using Debrid services and IPTV for years now. I pay like £55per year flat fee for the whole lot now. without it, my interest would have certainly fell to the wayside!
Did you catch the NFL Europe bug that was flying around in the 90s? do you watch any NFL when you gget a chance?
The Saudi's have really helped make some big fights but because they pay so much the big boys now fight less frequently because of how well paid they are. but I do agree, boxing is so corrupt. Even the last 2 weeks have had some real shocking judging and officiating. the UFC is an a mess right now as well with eye-pokes and making up rules on how to deal with them.
If I became a fan today I would struggle to keep watching it all but because I've been around a while I'm kinda used to the bullshit lol.
I've never seen Buhurt, but I have watched the Backyard Beefs thing, that shit is funny.
Mate If I was you i wouldn't mention it allI am a manchester united fan .
I don't really mention it on here because @GrownHealth is a manchester city fan

I will piss myself if those charges come home to roostMate If I was you i wouldn't mention it all
Couldn't resist as we we're taunted by the reds for years![]()
Don't even follow it too much over the last year or so and only seen a couple of matches in that time and when I was a kid I used to go Old Trafford ,Maine road and burnden park as often as possible and it'd be like 50p in and 10p for a program and frank stapleton and players from that era at united but my first City was promotion from the second division to the first and after that day aged 11 or 12 I was blue through and through as my dad always was even though he was welshI will piss myself if those charges come home to roost![]()
I often think about going to a different teams ground as I loved the old stadiums with standing and that's why I used to love away games when we were in the lower leagues and there's nowt wrong with supporting Burnley in my books.Even my 14 year old son and my partner have stopped supporting united
They have a season ticket for Burnley now
Didn't even know you were a manc fella.Don't even follow it too much over the last year or so and only seen a couple of matches in that time and when I was a kid I used to go Old Trafford ,Maine road and burnden park as often as possible and it'd be like 50p in and 10p for a program and frank stapleton and players from that era at united but my first City was promotion from the second division to the first and after that day aged 11 or 12 I was blue through and through as my dad always was even though he was welsh
Many a good day at the footy home and away for years as a teen but not anymore and I don't even like going to the newer stadium but they're still my team for better or worse.
I went to maine Road to watch oasis in 1995 or somethingDon't even follow it too much over the last year or so and only seen a couple of matches in that time and when I was a kid I used to go Old Trafford ,Maine road and burnden park as often as possible and it'd be like 50p in and 10p for a program and frank stapleton and players from that era at united but my first City was promotion from the second division to the first and after that day aged 11 or 12 I was blue through and through as my dad always was even though he was welsh![]()

That's a bargain! It is £60 a month for an adult and a junior with no cup games which is good value I suppose for Premier league football.
My son loves football and will watch anyone play
I used to like watching my sons football team play every week rather than watch Premier league as it was more entertaining
No I was still an avid fan then and what a day ,I've got goose bumps now thinking about the moment after 90 mins that led up to it but admittedly an armchair fan at that .Didn't even know you were a manc fella.
I'm the same really, I rarely watch these days.
You're showing your age here mate lol, What's this mid 80s? What a fun childhood that must have been.
Bet it was great to see that first prem win. Or did you stop watching by then?
I remember 89 the derby and it was 3-0 at half time and I was stood at the end of the Kippax right next to the united fans and they were gutted some crying then united came out and mark hughes scored that volley/bicycle kick whatever (another goosebump memory) and the red fans had so much hope but we won 5-1 then went on to not win a derby for 13 and half yearsI went to maine Road to watch oasis in 1995 or something
I think it was called the Kippax stand
