Brilliant stuff quitting the tobacco mateGood morning, day 4 nicotine patches and no joints, a bowl of jet fuel apricot with coffee in the mighty (not the coffee, just the herb) and a bowl of dirty zest in the da buddha after porridge.
There's some sunshine going on outside so I think a bike ride's on the cards later as I'm keeping myself busy, 44 years a joint smoker to vaping herb and nicotine patches is a culture shock but I smiled when I typed that
Enjoy your day!
I don't like that head fuzz at all mate, I usually have to medicate hard to get shut of it with a nice Sativa leaning strain, works all the timeMorning CampersI'm a bit better today, another step back to baseline thank you. Still slow in the head and legs work until they decide not too, but improving.
Going to hit the Banana Daddy again this morning, perhaps a little more gently this timeA strong uplifting effect yet not racy for me, strong cerebral high works to get the usual poor sleep fuzz erased whilst dulling pains.Worked yesterday!
Good luck mate, I hope its everything you need it to be.First day back at part-time. Feeling positive, only 3 days a week to get through, 4 days off. Feels more reasonable and manageable at the outset
Long Valley Legend getting used up during work days and is nice and steady
I'm really pleased to see that every day seems to be a small but noteworthy improvement to things. Enjoy the BD!Morning CampersI'm a bit better today, another step back to baseline thank you. Still slow in the head and legs work until they decide not too, but improving.

How is life as a married man treating you? well I hope!I'm on the last of my Sour & Sage today, I've had to put a script in as I'm going to run out. I've been skimping with my flower the last couple of months with getting Married, hopefully now things are returning to normal

I went for the Cheap Wappa and some King Sherb and 2 others I've forgottenMorning Med Buddies! - I hope you're all doing well this morning!
My sleep is total shite at the moment to be honest but we move, it is what it is although it is spiking my body anxiety which is a bit of a pain the ass. I was going to get some Cindy down but I think I may have to throw some CBD in there or start on the blue cheese instead.
Good luck mate, I hope its everything you need it to be.

What did you get an order in for? - I put my last Medicann order in recently for some Cappucino. I saw 2 recent reviews that weren't so bad so I figure I may as well let me rip me off one last time lol.
Why did you change to Cannabis Clinic Cardiff mate, will you save money or is it the bigger choice being available elsewhere to choose from?Morning Med Buddies! - I hope you're all doing well this morning!

Vascular Ulcer, lack of circulation. Reckon the MCAS attack that gave me very low heart rate and BP caused it. Bed sores are caused by pressure.Bloody hell mate, hows that developed, I thought it was people who were bedbound who got ulcers?

The Bubblegum Mintz looks an ok price £5g it looks like its only available at Botanical so what other pharmacies will charge if it becomes available elsewhere for it, I don't know.

Wappa is an Indica Hybrid strain which i bought mainly for evenings, I think the Genetics are a Skunk unknown if I remember rightly and something else.I thought that King Sherb was alright! Nothing crazy special but more than effective imo. What on earth is Wappa lol. Did i Miss a strain go OOS?
Quite a few reasons to be honest mate. I had my eye on them for a while like I think everyone half does and the stock issue with Medicann got a bit annoying so I did a comparison exercise using a 4 month ordering period to see how Cannabis Clinic Cardiff would compare financially against Medicann.
For the Jan to April period, I ordered 460g and spent £2776 with Medicann.
I then took that exact same 4 month ordering pattern and worked out what it would have cost through CCC using their cheaper pharmacies, while also including all clinic costs and the £250 signup fee. That came to around £2884, so about £108 more expensive during that first 4 month period.
The reason for that is the £250 joining fee is effectively being absorbed across those first few months, which in this example would be May to August.
After that upfront cost is out of the way, the pricing starts to swing the other direction. So when I repeated the same 4 month exercise again for Sept to Dec, but without the signup fee included, the same style of ordering would come to around £2634 with CCC. That works out about £142 cheaper over 4 months, or roughly £35 per month saved.
And that’s still based on buying broadly similar meds to what I already use now. If I focused more heavily on the cheaper strains, especially the under £40 options, I think the savings could realistically get closer to around £90 per month, especially with Botanical and the various discounts that pop up.
Then when you factor in pharmacy access and general medical service it felt a no brainer. I was going to switch in July but Medicann have pissed me on with a few conversations lately, I felt they've just been rude. I asked about restocking and their reply was "There's 170 to choose from, thanks". But whatever, no big deal. Then I asked them for a travel letter and they refused because my meds weren't on the same order. I've been away 3 times since I joined Medicann, all of them had mix and match additions and when I quieried this I was told the familar story of "this is the way it's always been", they even told me to rebuy the medication if I needed them all on the travel letter.
(Fwiw, i put this to CCC and he said to me he would do the travel letter and cover the meds supplied by Medicann. You see how easy that is for them and they didn't even prescribe the meds he's putting his name next to).
That was the last straw for me, the constant gas lighting and changing of policies without telling the patients has just gone a bit far. People have lost access to formularies over quality control reports, others have lost access through limits being applied on the sly and then them putting my comfortability as a patient at risk whilst away for what is essentially a bullshit reason. I even asked how I challenge the policy and they replied with the complaints email address, no compassion, no hello, literally just an email address.
I think the final thing for me a little to do with a mix of healthcare and ethical behaviour (not that I'm some saint, its just a side tinge of fuckery). The healthcare is non-existent and although the ordering system works for us it does feel like they're only here to take advantage of the medication we rely on. Maybe we don't need constant check-ups but to have zero doctor contact is wild for me from a general stand point. Then personally, over the last year with Medicann I've found myself wanting more. With my therapist retiring I felt the extra support on the calls would actually be good for my health. The fact you get an hour to just chat is brilliant. Felt like I was seeing a proper private doctor.
So that was basically that, I've shit on Medicann enough lately but if they're not giving discounts at a bigger rate than anywhere else then I'm longer aware of what their USP is. Fast script sign off probably.
From there I got my appt sorted with CCC, they confirmed some issues I had and within an hour of my appt I had access to the formulary web app.
Facking hell mate! I'll have a read on the check-in thread shortly.
I'm sorry that it feels like a barrage of shit for you right now mate, I'm hoping the good karma can come in any moment now...
