No it's a cherry tree but I've only ever had 1 cherry. And I'm pretty sure that blackbird that lives in my garden had that. My son nursed a sick baby blackbird back to health and now it lives here in Bush at top of garden.

Got to take my son to his first ever face to face job interview soon and he's bricking it .

I'm watching him flutter round the house after rushing out to get new pants, Oh what a sight. 😂

Anyway hope he gets it , can start paying his way then instead of eating us out of house and home .🤞
 
It's Friday , where did that creep up from ,can't believe it .

Let's hope Christmas comes and goes as fast or is that me just being miserable :giggle:

Hoping everyone has a chilled weekend , shops gone crazy already round here , everyone in a rat race.

Luckily my wife got all the presents ordered on one massive online binge last night apart from ours.😌

Needless to say the bank balance is on life support😅
 
Not keen meself but I understand for kids but I am amazed at the amount of so called grown ups who like christmas lol
 
Yes nephews and nieces are still young so that's where our focus goes with presents .

Used to be a very stressful time and I'm not big on presents but I still got to treat the special someone in my life.

Still go to my mums for dinner with my family ,dogs as does my brother with his family.(y)

Indeed, my mother is probably out of the country in Germany, and my little brother moved there permanently - so it'll just be me and the elder woofer.

Christmas is also his 14th birthday though, so the day becomes about him by default ☺️

Dottie's got my left arm trapped as I'm typing here now.
Pretty much how we roll in the morning ,it's all about the dogs now , we have em trained so they know which are their prizes under the tree and Bella whines for weeks before starring at them.

I don’t have much contact with my parents, but I’ll speak to my brother and niece on video.

My husband’s family are all in Ireland so that’ll be the same.

If it’s dry, I’ll be in the garden. Or painting if it’s raining. It’s just another day really. Happy to help out on here to if anyone’s wanting some Xmas helpers 🥰

Yeah I was at my work's Christmas do and the alarm sounded for about ten of us. A little excessive for a storm I think. Reminded me of those 'Nuclear war' alerts lol
