I saw him at Manchester appollo (best venue in my opinion) on the days of speed tour and he was like 20ft away playing all the old jam stuff on acoustic. Amazing night

I do remember! This is the 51st state of the USA: not as true now under this totalitarian regime, but was generally true until last elections, now we are just a 'state' quite literally.

Today I'll be mostly weeping for a dear friend who died too soon of cancer

I know it's customary for people to say overly nice things when someone dies, but being autistic I can't do insincerity - we lost one of the finest examples of a decent, caring, generous person I have had the honour to know and attempt to emulate in some small way.

They brought music, love, and comfort everywhere they went and the world is a better place that they were here.
