Hi everyone I have taken the step today to finally sign up to a clinic (I have chosen CB1 Medical). I suffer with Anxiety, Autism and OCD among a few other issues I’m really hoping this is going to be the start to a new me. Even if it just helps reduce some symptoms/feelings slightly I would be happy. Im currently waiting to be given a consultation date so I will report back once I have completed the process. Any advice, tips or recommendations for my journey are appreciated.

Welcome Higgy96. It's the bank holiday but I'm sure you'll have your Consultation soon. CB1 Medical are specialists with your medical conditions and the use of cannabis as a medication. Just be yourself, be honest how long you've used Cannabis to help with your conditions and you will be fine mate

Thank you. Around 5/10 years ago I was using it daily, it was only after stopping a lot of my issues became more noticeable, which I didn't realise at the time.

Yes higgy, im a newbie as well bro, took me years to apply. If it wasnt for this site i wouldnt have gotten past the registration lol. I think were in good hands here bro. Keep reading the forum, ive learnt so much from being here from just today.
I went with Alternaleaf . Signed up today too, booked my consultation for 29th. Took me long enough but ive done it. I found no question to dumb on here. Good to have learned so much in such a short time. I know youll be curious to how how it all works in detail. I still am. Up the newbie crew

Welcome to the community here @Higgy96 and I'm just questioning whether the clinic you've applied to covers your conditions unless you are treated for pain and it seems it may well do after looking at @node 's post so welcome and lets hope you gain the relief you seek

Welcome mate. I asked bc they will ask you roughly how much you were using and if there was any particular strain that helped you. As well as flower another option that CB1 Medical do well is oil. I would expect varies wildly per patient / condition (s) - honestly nothing to worry about be 100% honest about what your use is/has been.

Don't worry as there not trying to trick you or owt more looking if anything has a negative effect and your weekly/monthly usage and trying to see if your experienced with canna etc.

Hi mate! This place is super amazing and everyone is kind and helpful. You're in very good hands, it's more chill than Reddit and people go out of their way to point you in the right direction and offer support. I have aspergers syndrome, depression and ptsd, so we have similar conditions.

Tips and pointers:

- Be confident and yourself there's no need to hide or feel ashamed
- Bring your Summary of Care to your consultation and your ID to each meeting
- Bring snacks

I'm not the only person who's had a really good experience with Lavender Cake ( Curaleaf) as a strain for anxiety and related conditions.

Ive the same minus the ptsd but add the ADHD lol. Nice to meet you. Thanks for the advice. Wonderful place this, so much better than the ecs meetings, which btw dont work lol

CB1 Medical will get your summary of care for you via the NHS unless you live in Wales or Scotland in which case request it from your surgery.

Remember this is private health care, you are paying for this service, so make sure you let them know your needs regards quantities and strength, as you have smoked it before state that and that you will need access to all strengths. Before the interview check out the CB1 formula and make a list of what you want, they do this in the 1st meeting, after that you can choose repeats via the app. Don’t be nervous (we all are), CB1 doctors are brilliant and will put you at ease. If you can’t suss out the formula ask what meds to order here a day before your consultation.
