Just thought I'd see if I could entice people to share a funny or light hearted tale or story of something as a child you were told that stayed with you as an adult..!?

I'll start and it's quite quick but still today from time to time it creeps back up and puts a little smirk on my face..

When I was roughly 10 or 11 years of age, I spat on dead rabbit, lol ! The older brother of my friend told me "you should never spit on anything because as soon as your spit touches the thing you've spat on - you get the taste of that thing in your mouth"!

For years I thought I could taste dead rabbit in my mouth !

Donno if it was my mum or gran but I remember one of them telling me when i was little that if I got my todger out in public a crow would swoop down and peck it off another one was not to pull faces as the wind might change and you'll be stuck looking like that forever lol
