USA US reschedules cannabis as a less dangerous drug

Member when you used to laugh at the USA as they could get life in prison for being caught with 1g under the 3 strikes system?
We are the laughing stock now.
Sort it out

Cannabis is still federally illegal, and even admitting to past cannabis usage is grounds to refuse entry to the US – and holding cannabis, even in a legal state, can invalid your visa because it's based on federal law.

The US still can't export MC, patients still can't enter with their meds.

It's a step in the right direction in terms of enabling future research and such, but America has a long way to go yet.

This is some good clarity for everyone. Federal vs state legislation are very different things. I was always amazed how states can be so different in the USA from one to another yet all get together under the federal flag.

I think compared to most the western world (USA, Canada, France, Spain, Germany, Italy) we are well behind in the UK now and change should be coming to our shores.
The study posted yesterday showing an 85% reduction in medication prescription in germany linked to medical cannabis was frankly jaw dropping.

We're way ahead of half of that list.
