Morning Everyone,

I noticed it's been a little quiet this past week or so, so I thought I'd try and start a new conversation!

I know there's various DHV recommendation threads but I caught myself eyeing up a few new devices last night and I had to really curb my VAS.

I thought it would be cool to start a little thread to talk about which DHVs we have in our arsenal, why we like them, if we'd rec them, etc. Maybe hype up some devices we're excited for and all this sort of chat.

I'm currently using a TM2 Walnut as my daily driver, alongside my Hyperdyn which tends to come out before bed. Then I have an Arizer Airmax, Mighty+, M7XL, OG Arizer V Tower all collecting dust.

I love my TM2, its fantastic although combustion does happen. The Hyperdyn gets me those stoney hits which I find are perfect for getting me ready to sleep. The same with the M7XL. The V-tower and Airmax are okay. I like the Air Max for it's flavour and I would probably recommend it to new users. The V-tower is just old tech now unfortunately.

The Mighty+ is not for me, I'm a certified S&B Hater though, I don't rate any of their products aside from the OG Volcano.

I've got my eye on the new all black TM2 (No performance upgrades), Dynavap G3 and Zenleaf MOAB. I also really want the VerdaVap2.0 to drop outside of Australia as its the only true analog portable ball vape.

Has VAS got a hold on you?
What do you have in your collection?
What do you have your eyes on?

Having been through a few I have now settled on my Mighty+ as my go to daytime vape and my ruby twist is for the evenings via a chugga bong. Quite happy with these although i may one day update the bong to other glassware.
I press and dab a lot so also use a terp slurp on my chugga with a blow torch, and use a Utillian 6 dab pen as well.
I am also increasingly using a Yocan Pro battery with the vape carts and its brilliant!
Sitting in the draw and not being used: Pak + waste of money, crossland dab pen, its okay but the ultillian is way better.
I have my eyes on a wireless one hit wonder rig, dreams :)

Definitely a few round here with VAS lol and I went a bit crazy post Xmas and added a Dynavap M7XL and won a Ruby Twist thermal kit 🙌 and when I first joined medical I had an Arizer XQ already that was 10 or so years old so replaced that with the new model Arizer XQ2 and added Storz& Bickel Mighty to start my MC journey.
Vape cart Batteries I've bought 2 Airvape OEM keyvapes (£20 each)which do the trick and a Crossland dab pen like moons that doesn't get much use now but is adequate.

Lots of people do love their Mighty+. The durability factor is a big taking point.

You must get a real slap around the face when you switch to the Ruby!

If my Mrs gets her way I will probably get a Ruby to tide me over before I can't resist the MOAB. Is it as good as advertised?

I use a globe bong with a shisha hose for bigger draws. I would love to upgrade to a real Table Top Bong.

Do you press a fair bit of your flower to dab? Or do you have other connections?

I think there was a time when the Pax was a good entry standard, but there's a lot in that <£150 range that are just better imo. I still see it getting recs online as a good starter option though.

Have you picked up any of the new 4C Labs carts? I've got a Loco on my script but I hear it taste like hair spray! :(

What do you think of your M7XL? I should use mine more often to be honest. I prefer it to the Hyper in practice but the Hyper bowl size is a real nice to have.

Amazing that you won the Ruby kit! Is it as good as advertised for you?

I loved the XQ1 at first, I didn't get the fan assist version though and I've always regretted that. Not that it matters now.

Was the XQ2 all fan assisted? And was it a big upgrade in performance?

Do you use your Mighty when you're out and about?

I don't really use to the M7XL and may give it another trial in the near future when I find the cap :(😅 it's deffo got a terp sweet spot 💯

With the ruby twist I won it on a Smacksalad giveaway early in the year and really I need to take more time and get more use out of it than I do as this will take away my smoking again but it has the effect sometimes of rendering me useless for a few hours and personally I don't enjoy that although sometimes it's most welcome 😌

The two XQ's I've had/have again not the most use out of them but the newer one will always have a use and is one form of vaping my wife doesn't mind when using the balloon's so I might get that set up and try to entice her again :giggle: and it is fan assisted but so was my old version ,a decent desktop for the money (pre ruby twist haha)

I tend not to vape out as we simply don't get out that much but when I do say dog walks etc I'll often take my mighty but we plan getting out a bit over the summer here and there and we always have had canna with us pre MC and we are both legal patients so will absolutely carrying vape carts and my mighty locked and loaded ✊

I go easy on the ruby, often with the single hit bowl that holds the same as a mighty cap. Vaping does not release the full cannabinoid effects i find, but with the ruby rocking higher temps and then cooling in the bong i am getting the full effects. So yes the ruby is way stronger but only because it gives you the full spectrum hit unlike low temp vapes. The mighty gives that typical heady vape hit, which is great for my daytimes, but for evening relaxation it has to be the ruby (or i end up gorging on spliffs for the full effects).

I have had a lot of THCA to dab earlier in the year, which helped me create a stock of bud, but now i don’t buy it at present and prefer pressing my own up. This is for 2 reasons the hit is so concentrate and clean that 2-3 pulls is like a massive ruby so its way healthier on my throat and lungs dabbing as I am doing way less pulls. And reason 2 if I really want to get properly stoned roll out the dabs!

Nice idea on the thread mate I’m sure a good few of us here suffer with the syndrome too 🤣 I thought I had settled it with the tinymight 2, same as you the walnut version, beautiful thing, but I have found I now has AAS, or accessory acquisition syndrome. I can’t stop tinkering with different stems, balls, rubies, sapphires in the cooling path. My favourite set up so far is the ball stem with 3 ruby terp pills instead of the balls but I continue to fiddle. Very nice that black version I hadn’t seen that though 👀🔥 for me anything with any plastic of any kind is a non starter so for me the tm2 is perfect but I should imagine I will end up looking at ball vapes sooner or later 🤦‍♀️😂

I accidentally bought a knock off Terpcicle that's arriving today.

I thought I had overcome my VAS but here we are. I may be about to get my name on the waiting list for the Frolic as well...
The worse thing is for some VAS used to transfer into buying the latest nutrients and I'm seeing similar patterns ,expensive ones 😂🤣
Enjoy em mate because if you've got the meds you may as well enjoy them best you can 😌

I can definitely see that. Some people, me included really love our toys and latest fads.

But it's all good fun and we all need a hobby!

I try to be cost effective with my VAS if that's even a thing lol.

Ive read the Terpcicle is as close to ball vape hits you can get. So if that's anywhere near true then I might need to take the afternoon off work 😂

I'm still at the early stages with vaping paraphernalia only having the Mighty thus far. Got myself a Yocan Pro 3.0 for carts but must say I'm very very excited for a Table Top Bong and WOHW hopefully soon to be in transit !

How you finding the Yocan Pro 3.0? I'm on the brink of ordering one, if this script for carts ever gets sorted out (current status: newbie Dr prescribed the Sourdough as flower, so script has been sent back and then has to go to MDT *lowkey eyeroll* :p).

Collecting fine fragrances used to be my insanely expensive hobby. I was hoping to avoid another one, but we all know how that goes...
I've had a Crafty+ for ages - it's compact, but it has super-poor battery life. It's great for out and about, but needs recharging too often to be a core device. The Mighty+ Medic is tempting for public use, as it's HO approved - it's also well-sturdy, especially with the stroky-tactile rubber bumpers you can get for it. The TinyMight 2 gets fab reviews, but I wonder whether I'm too clumsy for glass. Looks easier to clean than the Mighty+, though. And it has replaceable batteries. And it's a looker, innit.
I was never a fan of bongs and never got into dabbing (unless hot knives in the kitchen in the 90s counts), but I'm fascinated by the prospect of pressing flower and making extracts. One day, maybe...

The WOHW is a nice bit of kit. Which table top did you go for? - The shipping times from Canada turn me off a little!

If the 3 is anything like the 2 then it's a really good bit of kit.

I have my eye on the Youcan Ziva Pro at the moment because it looks like a proper nicotine vape.

You're having a right fire of baptism with this script lol.

Did you collect them for the bottles or the scents? I know lots of people who enjoy the bottle shapes of perfumes and things like that.

I'm a certified S&B Hater, I think they were good 5 years ago but not anymore. Have you thought about a Venty at all?

For me the portability build benefit of their devices get negated hugely by non-removable batteries. why build something Hike proof if I cant take it hiking for more than like 4 hours?

The TM2 is my daily driver, I love it. I drop it all the time as well and nothing has ever broken. I do use a metal stem when I'm out though. Or I just use my trusty Dynavap. Through water it's a godsend, I absolutely love it. I think it's the best on the market (or was given what I'm reading about the Frolic recently).

I'm not super experienced with cart batteries but I've no complaints . I had the Aurora® Sourdough which I found extremely useful for intermitted sleep and having ait at the side of my bed to save having to get up, go down stairs, prep a bowl or mess about with the Mighty half asleep etc..

Seriously, dude - it seems to be taking forever! The doc misprescibed the Sourdough flower, but also couldn't find either of the flowers I wanted on whatever interface they use to prescribe IPS products. I've had to get on to IPS to give me access to their own live tracker (I was previously using the Integro one you posted a while back) and then screenshot the products I want and send it over to Alternaleaf with a bullet-pointed list of every detail they could possibly need to make it all happen. So it's still awaiting sign-off from the prescriber...and then MDT...and then I'll finally get to actually order. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait!
And seriously, no grumbles. I got 2x 1.2ml carts and 20g of any-strength flower on my first script, so I'm more than happy with that. They were happy to prescribe the products I requested on the basis of my own research - no moans here.

For the scents. The hobby is in training your nose, I guess - a bit like sampling wine or terpenes. I gave it up once I a) ran out of room and b) snagged a bottle of a many-years discontinued unicorn. Seemed like a good time to move on to something else and I've still got enough fragrance to keep me smelling sweet for the next 15 years 😆

Hikeability is big factor here, in terms of battery life and durability. A metal stem for the TM2 could be a game-changer, for me - thanks for the heads-up about that. I'm not a huge fan of S&B, per se. The advantage of the Mighty+ Medic is that it's HO-approved, so it's as legal as legal can be. It looks less like a weed device than the TM2, as well. I can see me being a cart user in public, generally. Hiking is possibly the exception to that rule - there's something about flower which is nice in nature, especially with sparklier strains. Lucy in the Sky sounds like hiking dreambud.

My Crafty+ needs regular cleaning, by soaking - the TM2 sounds easier to clean than S&B devices - that plus the price of the Venty is why it hasn't really been a consideration, to be honest.
