It's something that no doubt affects many on here, so if any are willing / comfortable to discuss and share, I thought it would be helpful - perhaps especially in the context of medical cannabis.

At the moment I'm struggling, had ongoing toilet battles this week, which is a thing which comes and goes for me, but this has been a bad week for it.

I've really struggled eating this week, daren't get on the scales to see the damage, and today I just can't face eating anything. I feel I should but stomach says no and I'm feeling really tired out.

What do you do to help yourself in such cases? Do you just not eat, do you use any tricks, any certain strains of canna?

Even if you just struggle and want to share that with people who understand, and you don't have any answers, feel free to jump in 😊

Nice one, I've managed orange juice at least and am taking vits, and was on the electrolytes in the earlier stages for fluid loss.

I got some snow off the drive as I thought that might help but it's done me in and still no more able to eat unfortunately

Hi @Lank72 hang in there ❤️ and stay out of the cold 🥶. My go to when my appetite goes is good old tomato soup or a simple lentil soup & regular sips of water (I have to force myself sometimes). No amount of weed helps me in these situations unfortunately.

Kefir, milk , boiled eggs easiest food to get back into solids , little bit of a brownie or cookie edible each little bite every hour or so should kickstart hunger, Cup of bhang

Cheers, vegan here so won't do the first few but edibles is a very very good shout..

I make mine so they are just a small square of chocolate, I'll have one and see how I go

This is another good shout, I think I'll make one in a bit once the eddies kick in and see if it tempts the nose, even if I can't face it, a pint of broth is no big loss (y)

Oatmilk shake is filling, choc square with a cuppa should kickstart , Hope you get it going.

I knew the Weed Club hivemind would have some good tips.

I've had more edibles followed by a slightly thicker broth.

My face is tingly, what day am I

Joking, feeling nicely end to end medicated from a mix of edibles oil and flower, and have avoided the jitters thanks to the broths, thanks all, will see what happens tomorrow 👍

my way of coping when my stomach aint playing ball is toast all day... toast n butter... avoid any liquid foods like soup etc (just what works for me im no doctor though)

im showing signs of crohns as its in my family (dad + sister have it) so i feel ur pain its not easy

Maybe this could be a dedicated thread to help patients with eating disorders , cancer , chrons etc all chime in and see what works and any helpful videos , recipes and products organic, veganic included. Hopefully some helpful people with expertise could see the thread and offer input

That sounds really difficult, sorry to hear you are struggling so much with this.

I'm not saying it's possible/suitable for you, but someone suggested broth to me above and this has been really helpful in my case. Similar to the hot chocolate in that it's a warm drink and I found easier to consume than food it given it was a thin hot drink. The main benefit I guess in this context is probably that the broth has a good assortment of vitamins and minerals, given that it is made from veg, etc.

Hopefully it's obvious that nothing on here is medical advice, so just to be sure always consult your doctor before making any healthcare changes, but I'm sharing below a really simple broth I use - boil a cup of water and stir in a blob to taste / thickness (I use about 1/3rd of a teaspoon) - just in case it's any help.

I just dont eat when it happens like you i might manage Tropicana i have long running stomach issues with stress somedays it feels exactly like when you are at the pre vomit stage the saliva is going a bit but theres no urge to heave. Ive losts huge amounts of weight because my mood messes up stomach acid production and puts me off my food.
