Can I ask what everyone does with their meds that ain't meeting their expectations

Effects
Taste
Etc...

How are you making them "consumable" or trying to get most out of item? Every review I get asked about black market, and since I went prescription based, I've not been near BM cannabis.

There's also another side to why I've not touched BM cannabis, cos I don't want the "other stuff" to blow my socks off and wonder why I ever went legit lol

I have stored them. Sometimes they change a little a little over time, but mostly I store to mix them, hybridise (?) them, use on a friday night or if i feel like a change.

No idea mate. I probably have a grands worth easy sat in my drawer that’s no good to me that I can’t stand to throw away. Stuff like the death bubba, galactic cake, though tasty and reasonably well grown, doesn’t touch my nerve pain at all, so it’s useless to me. I had much less wastage on the bm where I could try 2g of everything and stock up on what worked. But wastage for me = profit for big pharma. Dispos really should hold in bulk, then package per script in any weights you like, but again, it is by design for their benefit, not mine. Peace.

There's only one strain I've had which caused me headaches every time, so that went in the log burner

I also make tinctures - put in a bottle of gin say, leave in the sun in a window (ideally through summer), shake it up once a day, and watch it turn into a light gold miracle tonic

Then sieve all the plant matter out

I would consider getting a press if this was the case as often a a strain that doesn't hit the spot as flower will work perfectly when pressed into a concentrate as I found with some T19 Black Cherry Punch in the past and others so well worth considering if you are amassing a stockpile of valueless to you weed

Oh mate great shout!! I had been thinking about getting one to make some chemango kush carts to be fair but I hadn’t thought about that. I guess making carts there’s also the option to modulate effects by adding terpenes too

Not too clued on the adding terpenes but you'd of seen what others are learning here as we go along so it could be a great investment and hours of fun sort of tailoring your meds to your needs .

Yeah this is why 5g packets and/or introductory 1g samples should become a thing in this industry.

It's taken me 5 months to get through 4 strains with Curaleaf, and so at the moment I'm none-the-wiser as to what works best for me and what doesn't. Whereas imagine if your first few weeks on medical cannabis was just being sent a whole bunch of 1g samples and selecting your favourites.

Hell even if was an on-site "experience day" type thing where you could substitute 20g of your usual prescription for 20g of experience day cannabis where you can test a bunch and go home a lot more knowledgeable what what smells/tastes like what, etc.

There's so many ways they could make the honing of the strains and the dose so much more efficient for patients than it is.

Under Curaleaf's current system I'd be switching an entire 30g portion of my prescription to a new completely unknown strain, and as is the theme of this thread, it could end up being totally unusable, by which point I've either wasted £200 or I've wasted £70 but can't use the rest of the script until I get a new strain to replace it.

I haven't done it yet, but I'm saving up my ABV to try my own vegan gummies. I guess if I had any unusable strains, they'd be decarbed and added to that little project.

I personally don't activate it first, but if you want a full on high you probably need to as sun might not be enough

Maybe try two both ways and see what you prefer

Yeah a clear spirit and leave / shake every day is what I do
