Flower Why am i not getting the effects?

Hi There ,
I am hopeful that someone on here can offer me some advice please.
As a 54yr year old who has been smoking street green and resin for over 30 years I thought id go medical.
Currently I'm on 29% THC flower but getting hardly any effect.
I consume about 5 j's a day and put plenty in but not helping
Tried a vaporiser but still the same.

I've heard that maybe I should get some with more CBD and that THC strength doesn't equal potency.
If that is the case could you recommend some flower that will hit the spot?
Apologies but I am new to this array of flower variety's and presumed the higher the THC the greater the hit.

Its getting expensive just buying random strains to se if they work.

Sorry to hear you were struggling and I hope that things have got easier for you.

Putting a gauge of quality CBD oil under my tongue early in the morning often helps me a lot.

Then I vape a load of flower and drink coffee til I get moving and see how it goes after that.
