Oils Why is cbd oil the most expensive product on my formulary?

Looking at my formulary ( IPS). The only oil without any THC is £289 per 30ml bottle. Which is more than triple for the price of my current oil which is half CBD/half THC. What makes the CBD oil so expensive especially when its readily available on the high street for a fraction of the price.

Pharmaceutical grade, the need to extract the CBD might be more expensive. I don't actually know, nor use CBD. I know if I did use it and that oil was guaranteed to be free of all contaminants and 100% pure, I would pay that much for it. High street CBD is not guaranteed to be 100% pure oil, or at least the ones i've looked at never were. When you have life threatening allergies, pharma grade with guarantees is a must. For a regular person who doesn't care if there is a minute amount of peanut oil in it or something else, then Holland and Barrett CBD oil is probably a good deal.
