Hi all. Fairly new to this and looking forward to the future. I had my prescription for the first time 2 months ago. I joined Releaf and was only prescribed oil, Somaí 25:1 HYB. It's had a nice effect re relaxing my anxiety without making me feel inactive. Due to OOS my follow up was replaced with the 25:1 IND, which I specifically didn't want as I am keen to avoid feeling drowsy. It made me think about changing clinic.
I would like to consider flower (used to smoke 25 years ago) and other oils. Variety and a good quality clinic is important. I don't get through much at the minute and was weighing up between Medicann or Cannabis Clinic Cardiff. Could I justify CCC while getting low quantities .Thanks for all the wonderful content you're all creating.

Good call on leaving Releaf, they're certainly shit.
I have just left Medicann to join CCC and they offer very different experiences. CCC as a clinic are superb, wonderful doctor and support staff. The option to use any pharmacy does make things cheaper. I saved £108 this month and I still have more I can order.
There can be hiccups on the pharmacy side and although the clinic do their best it can add days on to deliveries but it's a price you must pay for all pharmacy access.
IVe had an update and down experience so far but I am saving money.
Medicann, I would never recommend. You'll never see a Dr or have a appointment to follow up, you can't order outside of their own pharmacy, the stock levels are shit in 2026, the support staff are very blunt and rude. The only thing they do well is fast script sign off for next day delivery. That's it.
Their best service is their lack of service.
I suppose me making the move tells you what I think even with the new lived experiences of life with CCC.
To give you an idea as to the difference in service, Medicann recently changed a policy on the quiet (they do that a lot) to do with travel letters. You have to have your meds on the same script for them to do a travel letter. Given the nature of ordering on Medicann you do it when you need so you can often have multiple scripts a month.
They told me if I want them on the same travel letter I'd have to rebuy the carts I had for £80 each.
Bare in mind we are talking about a letter here, not some feat of engineering or manned mission to Pluto.
I digress, when I spoke to CCC I asked them about travel letters, not only did the Dr say it's not an issue for them to be on separate scripts but he also said he would cover the meds from Medicann.
That difference in service sums up the difference in clinics imo.

Welcome to the Community @Scrabble, if you talk to your doctor he should prescribe flower for you.
There's plenty of clinics to choose from where you just pay postage and for your meds, no clinic fees.
Medicann is who I'm with as I just pay postage.
There's Curaleaf, Airmed, Lyphe for Veterans, Big Narstie Medical, Intergro, Auravia and probably a couple more but I couldn’t say what these are are like but there's the Gap Scheme that some clinics accept for people on low incomes ect. Whatever you decide, good luck on the rest of your MC Journey
Super helpful advice and thanks for sharing your experiences. I think I'll go down the either the Cannabis Clinic Cardiff or Medicann route. Just not sure I'll consume enough quantities to get a cost saving through ccc. Service and care sound great though.

On the main MedBud.wiki site, if you create an account you can view the formularies and pricing.
So you could pretend you're with Medicann and roughly figure out what you'd buy in 6 months for example.
Then do the same with CCC and apply apply that £250 and the £33 into the cost breakdown.
I assume Medicann will offer better value if you're only ordering small amounts but it's worth checking out as some pharmacies like Botanical have a huge range of flower in the £35-40 bracket so there are savings to be made with CCC in the right circumstances.
You'll have to let us know what you end up doing and how you enjoy things when you do make the move. It'll be a world apart from where you currently are.
