Hi Folks, glad to join the community, and thanks for the hard work of those who built and continue to develop MedBud

I had my second prescription delivered today from Mamedica® but one of multiple items was missing, and there's no indication on the invoice or anything that it was missing intentionally. I've tried calling and using different options - Pharmacy on hold an hour so I I hung up, others answered after a shorter wait but couldn't tell me without checking with the pharmacy.

As a new patient myself, whilst the process has generally been smooth I've noticed things here and there in addition to this example suggesting they may be a bit overstretched and a few things are slipping? I know there's been recent media coverage and adverts, so assume lots of new sign-ups (including me!)

Just wondering what the consensus was - trying to withold judgement and understand if it's a temporary thing (essentially good because it means more people are getting access to the medicine they need) which might be frustrating but really nothing to worry about in the long run, or if there are some things they just don't do so well...

Really hoped to avoid any issues for my first script like described above, but no contact from their pharmacy over 48hrs later is disappointing going into the weekend.
You can still get your invoice at any point over the weekend, I know this seemed strange at first to me. I'd wake up on Sunday morning to my invoice in my emails. Got my invoices at 7 this morning.

From my understanding it went to an automated system a few months back when they started splitting invoices into 2 but I maybe wrong lol.

Something like that ,I always get multiple invoices though now
You had 4 items then its split if its under 4 and a single invoice my grapefruit 20g peaches 30g and mac oil was 1 invoice. Took 3 days since submitted arrived 7am the email. For me the whole thing takes 7 days.

I spoke to someone there on Friday, and they said they are waiting for new posts to be filled, and some people were out unexpectedly, so think the people who are there are doing their best and hopefully it's temporary

Thanks to all who responded, appreciate you sharing your experiences (y)

Got my call-back today, first thing which was appreciated, and a replacement is on the way. Apparently we'll have to play table-tennis with the invoicing because I've already paid for the original product but the replacement costs more, and they can't issue the invoice up front with the correct adjusted price

Hoping stuff like this gets resolved too when the new system Muiredach mention is implemented
Well, table-tennis complete, I got a replacement 8 days later, and actually it's turned out to be my favourite so far I think (Big Narstie Moroccan Peaches). Chalk this one up to opportunity in adversity :P

Ah. The current system is 5days but I would still give them a call Monday. All but one order I have received next day when I pay the invoice but annoyingly the only confirmation I receive to say it has been sent is only from Royal Mail on the morning it is being delivered to say they have received a parcel from Mamedica® 🧐
What do you mean by the current system, 5 days from when to when?

I'd imagine he meant from consultation to vape, I know waiting for your first script is a nightmare it felt like it for me lol, but in hindsight it probably was about 5 working days, The sooner you get that invoice the better, as this'll be the last step of the process from your end, my first prescription was sent out the day I paid for it .

Yeah so as @GrownHealth mention, from your consultation to delivery is currently about 5days.

In regards to repeat prescriptions Mamedica® will send you an email which will say;

We have received your repeat prescription request which is now being processed. The dispensary will confirm your prescription and request payment within 5 days. Once paid for, your prescription will be dispatched via discreet tracked delivery.

Previously I could make a repeat prescription in the morning and call the clinic the same day and ask for the invoice, I would receive the invoice within the hour, pay for my medication then call the pharmacy and ask for my medication to be dispensed that day, explaining I’m running out of medication imminently and the pharmacy would dispense my medication and I would receive it the following morning 😁

Mamedica had a huge increase in patient numbers and they then implemented a 5day customer lead time which at first was 5days before invoice and then wait all weekend for delivery the following week which is ridiculous but now seems to of improved slightly and my prescriptions are received within 5days from placing a repeat prescription.

The new system that Mamedica are currently implementing should improve prescription efficiency and improve consultation connectivity over the old Sail.portal they used.

Thanks guys, I'll just have to suck it and see what happens because I don't like chasing up people or processes.
IT'S ALL A SCAM! Until it isn't.

Yes I'm the same with processes and chasing stuff up just causes more anxiety for me ,fingers crossed not long now but I'd ring on Wednesday if not getting your invoice or contact by then.
An lol the SCAM will be over soon as you open that farm gas and you'll see your postie in a different light.

After about the 3rd or 4th delivery my postie who grew up in the same neighbourhood so knows me well, she said" special " I replied "very" she looked at me and said is it your weed. When I told her yes she said she's delivering loads of these.

I had the same issue with my first script ( last week). Gave the pharmacy a ring yesterday and was told the new system sometimes refuses a script, no idea why, just a 'computer says no...cough' moment I guess. The pharmacy sorted it there and then though, so maybe give them a call.

Hi and welcome, just wanted to add that after your first month you should have a follow up consultation and you preferably want the appointment a few days before your meds will run out as this is where you request your meds or adjust how much you need going forward then it'll take the 3 or 4 days to arrive. Hope this helps as if your aware of it now it's easier to make your meds stretch out that little bit longer.

That's pretty much how it got sorted earlier, during a call I said I wouldn't make :)
