Just checked Wedinos (the free drug checker service), as one does, and was surprised to see a lot more cannabis coming back as some synth crap. I have seen vape fluid, hash and flower.
If your hash is full of synths, you might even miss it. And weak bud also can be sprayed with the chemicals, smelling like the real deal but messing you up.
These are the moments I am even more grateful for the medical market.

BM is getting more saturated with synthetic cannabis - I am on this site for two main reasons, the thread title and wanting to "come out" and legitimise my consumption, to go legal. This reply relates purely to BM pre-filled THC vape pens...
My experiences of 2 years of BM THC vapes, always allegedly Californian, always in seemingly legit packaging or so I kept telling myself. Within that 2 year period, for sure, absolutely, I have been "spiked" dozens of times. By this, I mean, I have had bad reactions to some vapes. This most noticeably would be that of inexplicable anxiety and aggressive outbursts in private and public, unstopppable rage, worst of all, a small number of times, in the presence of family. Seriously, I am a passive, non-aggressive person, well-mannered person, it is not in me by default to act the way some vapes left me, mates too, it wasnt some sensitivity or allergy i had. What I am describing here would be a sort of tension that would come on hours after beginning to puff on it, not instant.
I used to get mixed batches of 10, or rarely, I'd pick 10 of the same. The times that I picked a mix of different types, yes, every now and then would be one to instantly get into the bin ASAP... before a "but I paid for this"... meant it got put in the draw "just in case" or something equally as pathetic. In all that time, as pathetic as this is, I must have bought, 200-300 of the little buggers and like I say, some of these went straight into the bin after a bad expereince. A few times of that and "maybe I need to look at medical", as I was having rapid heart rates, getting concerned comments off mates, my work was suffering, all sorts. In fact, having a WFH job, BM vapes, some of them I mean, almost wrecked the job I do. I ended up with the first verbal warning for conduct I have ever received in my life - all smoothed over since and back to normal.
I have legit conditions to qualify for medical, but they're not ones that caused me to have episodes like that. Don't get me wrong, I didn't hit anyone but in the main, at my worst, off a bad vape, I would be antagonistic... a bully, just a total f-----g unpredictable fun-sponge and c word to be around until it wore off, I would learn that I would need to be alone to consume! That's not me! At all. I have no idea what chems those would even be or what type, but never again. I personally can vouch that (in my experience) many BM vapes are laced with who knows what. Synthetics and worse... THC doesnt give me reactions like that at all.
Bear in mind too, let's face it, we are talking organised crime here. There is no obligation to the BC customer. They will use whatever they can to produce more pens from what batch amount of delta they have and secure as high a profit margin as possible. Mix all sorts of crap in F the customer, pad it out, alter the effects unintenionally. This is done with powders and pills, cutting or whatever. And then there are all the fakeries with forms of cannabi. I am glad to be medical where the authenticity is confirmed legit and I am back to serene and the normal me again!
I think I know what you mean. Before I went medical, when I stopped smoking I went to BM carts for 2-3 months, and had similar experiences - turning into an impatient, ready-to-explode arse.
Then I stopped carts and was only eating BM bud for years, that made things a lot better again.
I never felt comfortable trying black market vapes. When my children were growing up, I made a point of having direct, factual conversations with them about drug safety. I made it clear that, in my view, black market vapes carried a high risk of harm—comparable to buying a bag of spice. That perspective has stayed with me. As a result, even though I now use nicotine vapes regularly, I remain hesitant to try medical cannabis THC cartridges. I did experiment once with THCP-coated flower a few years ago while in Portugal, never again.
I never felt comfortable trying black market vapes. When my children were growing up, I made a point of having direct, factual conversations with them about drug safety. I made it clear that, in my view, black market vapes carried a high risk of harm—comparable to buying a bag of spice. That perspective has stayed with me. As a result, even though I now use nicotine vapes regularly, I remain hesitant to try medical cannabis THC cartridges. I did experiment once with THCP-coated flower a few years ago while in Portugal, never again.
In the interests of science I puffed on a THCP liquid vape, when they first appeared... as you say never again! A very one dimensional high that dragged on and on. Irritated, overstimulated, nasty!

Yeah I hear that! "ready-to-explode" - not good, especially in traffic, in queues, getting f-d off with people in supermarkets, the street, I am not a fighting man at all!

Thats very pragmatic and responsible mate, it addresses it head on and informs them if/when they're put in that position. As for the spice effect, yeah, that happened on a mild scale a few times, horrifically awkward to deal with.
A tainted vape too- from the last drag, would prob have take me a day sometimes two to fully recover from. Worst thing is, if you're new to the process, you sometimes puff on them like elf bars... without realising and like I say the effects wouldnt even be instant, for me it would just be there hours later and I wouldnt even realise until say,
People- THC and obviously medical cannabis does not require your personality to need a 1-2 day recovery. The day after I would run out, I would keep out of people's way to make sure they didn't cop any verbals or attitude from me. Verbals and attitude, that aint me. Clearly some kind of absolute withdrawal symptom from something.

Edit - damn, I wished I knew about that service, I could have sent them a few dozen to check, would have been fascinating to see what came back. It was on tv last year, news feature, schoolkids buying THC vape pens off social media..... it covered mass-produced BM vapes and organised crime in that a huge proportion come in from China on a grand scale (and it showed the usual alleged-to-be Runtz pens, Packwoods, etcetc)where, ermmmmm THC products are completely illegal.
Sure does open eyes if true. And obv there'll be thousands of sellers here filling empty pens bought in bulk, with the glossy authentic-looking packaging, filling from a delta bottle with THC and knocking em out too but yeah the foreign import thing was an eye opener too.

Yup, I only use MC carts in bed at night if awake full of adrenalin and cortisol. Rapid increase in tolerance if you use all day, so not surprised at that finding!
. I am so new, never had any drugs and signed up here just to get relief from chronic pain and insomnia.
