I have actually noticed this on the app but my mind has been working slow and didn't correlate the use it has to us ,but yes it's a great resource going forward .
Some others are making similar claims, but given the delays we often see this time of year with packages from Royal Mail - I think it's a bit risky.View attachment 1362
@Muiredach Pretty stunning logistics here + I think they must be working this weekend. AFAIK no other pharmacies are doing this.
Yes! It's been there for over a year now. We're working on a similar system too so they're cross-compatible.Just noticed @GrownHealth @Muiredach we got batch info in the CB1 Medical script assist!

MC can't be legally dispensed with electronic scripts, as with other controlled drugs. While I got you - do you know of any pharmacies investing in the electronic script?

Due to lack of investment? or no law being passed?I'm aware, there was a lot of excitement for a while - we were in all the Cannabis Industry Council meetings at the time when the announcement went out.
Unfortunately nothing ever materialised.
Thank you @Muiredach Now I understand, they seemed so confident as you said I took it as read it would happen. The charlatan at Jorja Emerson Centre even had a template for it. I wonder what stopped the legislation changing? No change in legislation occurred, most of the clinics in the industry would have immediately swapped to it if it were legalised.
I may have been wrong here, I read other comments about adopting e-prescribing soon from a brand. Will make some enquiries and report backThank you @Muiredach Now I understand, they seemed so confident as you said I took it as read it would happen. Brilliant thank you.I may have been wrong here, I read other comments about adopting e-prescribing soon from a brand owner. Will make some enquiries and report back![]()
UK Clinic Owner said:I had to point out the premature celebrations over e-prescribing legislation changes were stupid, as the change is only applicable to NHS, secondary care, and prisons etc. - not applicable to private clinics whatsoever, so we're still at the first hurdle.
Meanwhile, Adam Windish, of British Cannabis Medical, highlighted that the implementation of e-prescribing, which was permitted by the MHRA this year, would ‘significantly reduce patient waiting times, streamline the process, and encourage more people in the UK to consider medical cannabis as a treatment option’.
Really unreal this industry - how sloppy everything is, on the patient journey through to prescribing so many errors introduced and a complete lack of management and just treating us as cash cow consumers. I hate to mention the R word - but I think it needs regulation. What say you?Seems my initial remarks were correct. In short - e-prescribing is still a no go. Below from an anonymous clinic owner, paraphrased to hide their writing style:
This is the comment that made me question things, seems British Cannabis fucked up here:
Doesn't matter if the MHRA allow it in certain sectors, it's still a no-go for private medical cannabis clinics.
