I know this is only a scientific sample of one but I thought this was worth mentioning:

In May of this year I had a PSA test done which came back with a result of 10.52. When I googled, it gave me a 50 50 chance of it being prostate cancer and on further testing it was.
Desperate to gain some control I started researching and found this study about CBD inhibiting the Proliferation and Invasiveness of Prostate Cancer Cells. So, as I started my MC journey I was determined that CBD would form a part and have been taking a T25:C25 oil since august and supplementing with additional CBD, vitamin D and vitamin K.

As the hospital had messed about and caused a delay of several months they put me on active surveillance and sent me for another PSA test in October. They have given me no treatment so far but I am scheduled for surgery on the 29th December. I had a call with the urology nurse today and asked for the results of my October PSA test with my concern being that my PSA level may have risen meaning the cancer was getting more aggressive. The results from October are 6.5. A drop of 4.02. It doesn't change the cancer or the need for an operation but it does give me hope that I have:
a. slowed it while I wait for surgery
b. have an approach post surgery to prevent re-occurrence

Since my October PSA test I have altered my CBD routine further. I now take a big 60mg dose every evening and have felt a measurable difference physically . It would have been interesting if they had caught my diagnosis sooner and I could have seen how much impact I could have had whilst on active surveillance but I don't have time for another PSA before my surgery (after which it should be <0.1.)

To all the chaps on here approaching or over 50, add some CBD into your routine and get a PSA test

Thanks for sharing your experience. It’s really encouraging to hear about your PSA drop from 10.52 to 6.5. While it’s impossible to say for sure that CBD caused the change, your routine with CBD, vitamin D, and vitamin K may have contributed to overall health and immune support. Some people also explore products like Sisters of the Valley CBD products for women, which show the growing interest in targeted, wellness-focused CBD options. The study you cited shows promising preclinical evidence, but human research is still limited. Keep following your doctor’s guidance, and it’s understandable to feel hope while awaiting surgery.
