Welcome to the community @hawkeye and recreational use should always be mentioned as It'll show that you don't suffer adverse effects and most are very open and frank about it and it certainly shouldn't count against you .
If you need any assistance/advice with choosing a clinic just ask as the community will help with their experiences of their clinics and anything you need to get prepared in advance.
No problem mate and a lot of have the same worry about recreational use and I suppose it is reassuring to a prescriber that you are not coming into MC with no experience and quite a lot of us here have used Cannabis for decades are open and frank about it with our consultants and also don't feel like you have to under play your usage and be prepared to use more as you will be treating yourself round the clock where as some with recreational users may use less say just when socialising so absolutely don't be afraid to request what you feel you need and for example my allowance is 70g/month .2 vape pens and edibles if I require them but I can move up and down within those limits as I wish .
So next Q, is thoughts on Alternaleaf or Integro
I wouldn't put you off either of them and from what you've told us and what I know of them both I would go with Integro in this instance but both are decent and have a decent range of products to choose from but when I hear members talk of their time at integro they build up strong relationships with their doctors and speak of the clinic highly.
Hi Hawkeye, I'm in the same boat as you with a recent diagnosis of prostate cancer (likely early T3a) what stage are you at? I started with Releaf and have nearly finished my switch over to Alternaleaf. I was completely open in my initial consultations and have since discussed with my GP. I will be discussing with my consultant in a couple of weeks
If you are having or about to have any immuno therapy or chemo they will be unwilling to prescribe as cannabis can lower your immune system.
