I couldn’t find the Facebook group and missed out on the conversations, so I thought I’d join here for some proper canna chats.

I’ve been with Integro since August 2023. I live with several health conditions, including Fibromyalgia and spinal nerve issues caused by disc and spine disease. After a few months on treatment, I came off all my NHS meds—including slow-release morphine.

Back in the eighties I was a heavy dope smoker, but when I gave up smoking in the nineties, I also stopped using the black market.

These days I’m all about Sativa in the daytime and I love a good Indica at night. I also like oils but tend to stick with flower.

Welcome to the Community @Robotgirl, i too suffer with similar health issues and was a heavy opiate user for my conditions for many years. Its a great database of information here and knowledgeable friendly people 👍

Welcome @Robotgirl and you'll find friendly canna chat here between us with also like @Dooby Doo says a great database of info and it appears you joined MC about the same time as myself although treating different conditions .

'Back in the eighties I was a heavy dope smoker' 😁

Appreciate the welcome. I’ll be observing for now… sounds like we’ve both had our battles. ☺️

Thanks, there's always something new to learn regarding cannabis isn't there. I tend to nerd out then have a break but I like to keep up with the news.

Yes absolutely and although I've used it most of my life successfully we are still novices and students really but what a great plant to study also watching it help more and more people through legal use here in the UK is great to witness as well.

What I find unusual about MC is how many people still stick with BM without realising the difference going legal makes. I honestly thought more of my friends would have joined me by now, but they’re still risking their jobs, and in some cases dealing with partners who don’t like their use. If they went down the MC route, they’d see how much better things are in so many ways.

On another note, I’ve been learning about ADHD recently and have realised I have it, and that it’s worsened with age. I’m interested in exploring how cannabis might help me manage it.

I still have many friends who still risk using BM, I find it hard to believe they still take risks. There have been a couple who took their time getting onto MC and hasn't turned back like myself. Its great being legal and is the way forward for people like ourselves.

I hear you — it surprises me too that so many are still taking risks with BM. They’re really missing out on the fun of choosing strains, having a proper selection, and all the other benefits that come with going legal… but perhaps I’m just a big nerd when it comes to this stuff! 🤓

Its taking that leap with a few people and people are always getting tic on their Cannabis and its going without until they can afford it that stops them also.

Yeah, I get that , taking the leap can be tricky for some, and it’s frustrating when people have to go without until they can afford it. Hopefully as things become more accessible, more will make the switch.

They will eventually especially the ones caught in the tic club.
