Clinics Limited to 25% THC at CB1

Hello everyone

So I’m with CB1 Medical since last year. When I had my consultation for medical cannabis for pain relief I was told that I can only get up to 25% THC because I had a heart attack 4 years ago and that was the law. I have since heard through friends that that may not be the case and other clinics do not limit THC%.
Obviously I’m limited to the medication available because of this restriction and am considering switching clinics, but thought I’d ask the community first if anyone was aware of this so I could get back to them and maybe avoid the hassle

I really really don't think there is law that sets a THC limit after a heart attack

And I don't think there is an established medical link there anyway between percentage and heart health

There's no law and I'm not aware of a link but you may find some prescribers equally as hesitant although I would suspect the majority wouldn't even see a link.

I think the Doc is probably referring to the smoking study which suggested smokers of cannabis are at higher risk of stroke and heart attack than others but its specific to smoking as far as I'm aware. I've never read past the headlines to be honest.
